Can't wait for the game. Hopefully we get our season off to a good start. 

Very thin squad for this one. Four players injured or suspended and we're forced to play either Morata out of position or Musonda on debut. 

Huge game for Rudiger who will likely debut and for Cesc who will need to be our creative focus. 

Predicting a very tough, ugly 2-1 win. Willian and Cahill with goals.

So surprised Boga is starting. A few months ago I would have never thought Boga would be starting first game, hopefully he impresses.

Looking like a very tough season with our half a squad approach.

Our squad sure looks depleted for a championship team. Can't believe our off-season resulted in hardly a handful of fresh talent.

Against Burnley, I don't expect much resistance. It's really the very next one which is the one to worry over.

Good luck to Boga and Morata today- and the rest of the team. Need three points here because we've got some difficult games in the next few weeks against Spurs, Everton, Arsenal etc playing with a depleted squad. Might be a struggle at the start of this season but I've every confidence we'll be contenders by the end.

I don't understand why Conte doesn't allow Morata to start. If he is supposed to be our first choice striker he should be given playing time. And Burnley is not one of the best teams in the league.

Will be a tough game for sure. Still I'm positive we can nick it. 2-1. Bats, Cahill.

Not confident we will score if Boga and Michy starts. That is not how the champions of England should have as their firepower for the first game of a season.

Conte is a bit risk adverse...so he'll wait till Morata has more time to adjust to the Chelsea method...I expect him to get some time off the bench today though...

Why is the assumption that boga is starting and morata is not ?
