After all the negativity of the summer this is a must win game, in my opinion we need to have as much quality out on the pitch as possible; for me this isn't really a game to bleed a youngster like Musonda or Boga into the team. Morata isn't like Costa who would be completely useless on the wing or behind the striker; he has good technical ability, he's quick and I think he could do a good job there.

The one upside to Pedro's injury is that one of Musonda Boga could see some minutes. I'd not play Morata on the wing.

I reckon we might see something like that, probably not anywhere near the team that Conte would want to pick and he's going to have almost nothing on the bench to change things either. 

To think, Loic Remy might get minutes coming of the bench... That's how dire our depth is right now.

I think Musonda can have a real impact if he's given a chance...but I would assume Morata and Bats will start.

I hope Conte pushes Cesc as a FWD, luiz as a DM and puts in Andreas in the back 3. Will be far more comfortable with Cesc not as a CM than with Hazard on the pitch.

Wow. That makes sense. i remember Luiz dominating in midfield during rafas season. Hopefully we buy vwd from southampton and stick luiz in mid for the season

Doubtful considering Luiz was very competent as a ball playing defender in the centre of the back three.  Also with Baka bought, and noise of another midfielder being bought, I cant see us shoehorning Luiz back into the mid.

For starters what happens when luiz is injure, suspended or tired who will u we suggest we play in the centre Christensen???.  I wud rather he played on the sides he doesnt have the aggression nor the height needed for the centre in the premier league. I f we can get a quality midfielder i am cool but i dont know how many are out there. Can you suggest some that are available?

I'd also bring Morata on at least at the 55 minute mark for either Musonda or Bats just to give him BPL minutes

This is what i am hoping for.

The team i want to see is the team Conte puts on the team sheet tomorrow. 

 

 

 

Not sureif this is the best place to ask, but I'm unexpectedly going to be in London tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone knows of any reliable pub that shows 3pm games? Anywhere quite central or even out towards SW6 is fine.

I get people worry about cesc in a 2 with kante, but he has played in a 2 alot for chelsea, and we have won 2 league titles, so I trust he will be okay at home to Burnley. if Luiz was to play ahead of him, we may aswell sell him.

Hazard was supposed to only return to training in September, but he started training 2 weeks ago, in July.  Of course not yet as physical as the other first teams but it's positive his recovery is ahead of schedule.  Let's see if he won't be back making an appearance by the 3rd game week then!

Haha - nice one on the bench!  I think Morata is not yet ready to start.  His performances have been off the Mark but I do hope he plays well soon. I would love for Boga or Musonda to start.  Boga looked really good in pre season.
