You can see in Hazards body language he's not happy at all and understandably so IMO. It's the complete contrast to midweek where we went at Atleti, he seemed to be loving every minute of it.

The game just hasn't gone to plan, good formation and lineup, right setup altogether, but the players are sloppy, City are really up for it despite the Aguero loss. We need to be more decisive on the counter-attack and harm that defence of theirs, that's our job. We were always going to get outplayed in this game.

Same thing happened last season when we beat them twice so I'm not sure what you're worried about. It's only a problem if we lose or draw.

Man City are better than Atletico, not a fair comparison. ATM let us have the ball more. Problem is when we do have the ball, we are too sloppy, like we were against Arsenal. We are poor at retaining possession against expansive playing teams.

We have tanked class teams and lost to drivel, it's football.

The EPL is very different to the CL in terms of pace and intensity. Without Morata up top we are notmwijning these kind of games because you need a brilliant striker and we only have one. Michy is raw and largely untested at this level in games like this.

Willian came on and offered nothing, he's kind of what hampers us....sometimes plays well and you think there's  a great player in there then he plays like today where you want him benched for the foreseeable.

I think if you've watched the first half it's quite clear what I mean. 

 

As my post states we are showing this city side far too much respect. We're letting them dominate us all over the park. This is not the kind of game where Hazard excels, midweek is a perfect example of what he enjoys and excels in.

 

i never said it was sh*t but Willian isn't close to world class, Pedro isn't either & two of those players are defensive midfielders. So that's leaves Morata who has the potential to be & Cesc whose passing is but the rest of his game i.e. Lack of athleticism means he struggles in fast paced games.

Yet all the other times we've counter-attacked Arsenal and approached the game with high pressure we have beat them. If you seriously don't pick the latter option there is something wrong with you.

Disagree, might have a bit more going forward but defence and goalkeeper they're not even near the same level.

I'm looking at this. And looking at the future. If we win today we certainly won't get away with it on future against top teams. We are playing like a bottom half team. 

So even if we win 1-0, we will literally be papering over cracks. I hope we do. But it won't be fooling me and I certainly won't watching match of the day.

we took the game to Madrid in the week and won. We've outplayed and beat arsenal plenty of times. We are not even implementing our tactics well. Take them Chelsea glasses off you plum.
