Maybe a few poor seasons would be worth it to get rid of them. Read this place from since it started, Chelsea shed ST holder for years, Sorry your feelings are hurt about danny Drinkwater Onwards and upwards eh.....bud....

I'm sure his wages over the 5 years at 100k+ a week will help him sleep at night, gotta make you laugh when these "kids" living as adults don't understand the real world with real people problems and money struggles, no sympathy for him whatsoever, he had opportunities. The most moronic of takes, he's earning loads of money so his dad's death won't upset him?

Can you show me where I mentioned his dad in my post before you try to belittle me, pretty sure that's the definition of "moronic" as you put it I was merely explaining earning 25-30 million over 5 years is so hard and difficult he needs all the sympathy in the world, majority of people lose their parents at some point and still manage to navigate life without the help of extortionate money

All iv mentioned is a failed footballer with opportunities and a massive fortune, I have not mentioned anything else, he can come up with all these excuses, the simple fact is everybody goes through problems

July 8, 20224 yr Tbh if he really wanted to salvage his career he could have pushed for a move to a different team to get game time. Instead he decided to stay and do f*ck all. I know he’s troubled and had problems but he could have used football as distraction.
July 9, 20224 yr The personal issues, family deaths, custody battles etc are enough to impact anyone, multi millionaire or otherwise.... But.... ...We need to separate the personal from the professional. If he REALLY wanted to play football, then it was an easy thing to make happen. Chelsea would have let him go for free, and all he needed to do was accept a huge paycut to go and play elsewhere. I bet Chelsea would have even subsidised half his salary for the remainder of his contract to get him out of the door. IF he agrees to play for 15-20k per week, then there would have been endless offers. But no...he stuck around for the money. I don't blame or begrudge him that, I would have done the same, but lets not dress it up to be anything other than what it is...Bogarde lite.

July 10, 20224 yr I'm not as empathetic to him as I was with Tuchel. Despite everything, Tuchel soldiered on and hung in there. Drinkwater just kept going on a downward spiral. He's a millionaire, he could have start a business, feed hungry kids etc. He chose to drink
