Next Chelsea Manager

  1. 1. Here are the current favorites with Conte included. Jody Morris is in there as he is the current youth team manager, and promoting from within seems to have worked for Barca, so why not us?!

I had a dream about this last night, which I think wraps up any confusion about what's going on.

Me and the players were sat down in a room with Antonio Conte and he announced to us all that next season we would be run by Sarri. Some of the players didn't want him to go, and he got a round of applause. Then Sarri came in with an interpretor, as he didn't speak any English. I have no idea if in my dreams I can speak fluent Italian or if it was just gibberish, but it certainly wasn't English, anyway.

So hope that clears up the situation for everyone.

Sarri speaks English from his time as a banker. I thought native language always comes out as gibberish. Zeta the psychic

But we should be. We’ve had every chance to establish ourselves as the undisputed top dog in England the last few years but we have squandered every opportunity we got.

We screwed ourselves with horrendous transfer business instead after winning the league instead of continuing to build on a top side that with a few additions/pieces could have retained the league title and gotten far in Europe.

Instead of that we are now far behind the best teams in England, playing in Europa League and have a lackluster squad. It’s been a massive fall from grace that shouldn’t have been allowed to happen.

Money makes you the top dog in England and both Manchester clubs have more of that to spend, therefore they're both above us. Most players will pick them over us. Then you have all the foreign clubs that are more attractive to players. Its just spoilt behaviour if you believe we have some god given right and every player should be honoured to join us. There are bigger fish out there.

We have spent plenty of money as well. Just last season we spent over £120 million on Baka, DD, Zappacosta and Barkley for example.
The other clubs have spent much wiser than us.

Spending on sh*t players has nothing to do with the fact other players will choose other teams. People seem to think we can attract any player and if we put a bid in they have to accept. Players have choices and their are more attractive teams to join, that can pay much more money than us. That Brakeit moron on here always rambles on about how the club 'failed' to sign Walker when he literally chose another team over us. We can't force his hand.

The only moron here is you.
You was in a rat hole, when we was winning title with Conte, but when we started to struggle, the specialist RIP Mourinho show his face ....

And yes we failed, cause City was never in for Walker, they was in for Danny Alves, even Alves and Guardiola admit that moron.

We was acting too slow on the market and Marina was low-balling and we lose players, becuase of that.

Of course City failed with Alvez, and they act fast and get Walker.

More of this, even worst happen with Lukaku.
If we was acting fast, he would be ours. United was never for him in the first place.
The same way we missed Llorente(whether it was for good or bad) and Tottenham took him.

And you can`t fu*** said we was not attractive, cause we just have won the title moron.

Before Marina gets the promotion, we was getting almost every player we wanted.

There you go with Hazard, there was plenty of team for him, but we paid the money they ask, and give him best salary and we get him.
That`s how we get Essien, Drogba, Carvalho, Ashley Cole and so on ....

And don`t try to respond me i just put you in ignore.

He is at Monaco and we don't look interested in replacing him. Reports suggest Marina took over his duties but it's anybodies guess what the structure is like at Chelsea right now.

Current midfielders:

Bakayoko - Awful first touch, likes to switch play with mixed success, runs from deep but often runs into blind alleys, positional awareness non existentoxic means he is often caught in no man's land and as such gives fouls away trying to catch up. Kinda brainless with good strength.

Kante - Freakishly good stamina and ability to cover lots of ground. Great positional awareness and tireless tackler. Good passing range and accuracy but plays it simple most times. Likes to drive forwards with the ball and is very good at keeping the ball under pressure and also taking people on.

Fabregas - Best passer in the team. Has the best vision and frequently makes through balls. Lofted through balls are his forte but is also very good at quick interlinking play with other attackers. Can't run and can't tackle and is often caught out when opposition press him.

Drinkwater - A bit slow but a good tackler and covers a decent amount of ground. Has good passing and good passing range. Tends not to play many adventurous passes and has a lower success rate when he does try through balls. Has decent positioning and is less of a liability defensively then Bakayoko and Fabregas.

Loftus-Cheek - Great dribbling and loves to drive the ball from deep. Makes good runs in and and round he box and has intelligent movement off the ball. Has very good passing range and is a very good passers of the ball. Can beat 3-4 men at a time and likes to link up with quick incisive one - twos. Has terrible shooting, doesn't run much and lacks intensity off the ball. Stands still a lot and is quite passive with his passing considering his ability. Good tackler and wins the ball often through taking up good positions defensively.

Barkley - I don't know.

Maybe we'l pull a Napoli and sign Serri while keeping Conte under contract just in case another team wants him, and we can try and extort them. Suckers.

There are two more you may care to run the rule over:- Kyle Scott, a 20yr-old who is technically very good and also likes a tackle. He strikes me as being a typical Sarri player, quick one-two touch midfielder who likes to dictate the play and also has an eye for a pass. At 5ft 8in he is slight of build, but this would not appear to be something that bothers Sarri that much. The other is Ethan Ampadu who at 6ft and 72 kg is bigger and can also play in defence. He would definitely be deep-lying midfield material and at only 17 years of age and a full international Sarri could shape his long term career in either a defensive or a midfield role.

Don't forget Mason Mount and Billy Gilmour...those kids have very bright futures...

Gilmour should be brought into the 1st team carefully so as not to throw him off the deep end too quickly.

I don't think Kyle scott will make it here. He's never really impressed me at youth level, I know that youth perfomance doesn't always translate to how successful a player will go to become, but I would be shocked if he goes on to be a premier league player, let alone one good enough for our first team.

You seem to misunderstand the word never. How are these players at their clubs if they were never in for them?

The is also MvG and Pasalic who are out on loan that I think could suit Sarri system maybe not as a starter but they would make decent backups

Bang on!

It doesn't matter City and Utd spent a bit more money than us. We still have plenty/enough cash and à big enough attraction to sign real quality and Rudi apart, we spent a shedload on a pile of cack. That is what made the difference.

Anyway, I have my fingers and toes crossed that the  rumours of Sarri and Zola are true. That would be such an exciting partnership and give the club the boost it needs.

I go on this forum everyday whether we win or lose. Unlike you that someone proved only comes on here to moan.

City were in for both. Danilo was the backup.

We got Morata that was the managers first choice, how can you be upset by that.

Llorente is sh*t, thank f**k we missed out on him.

We are attractive, but other teams are more attractive, how can you not understand that. City had Pep coming in, one of the most attractive managers to play under. Why would a player want to join us and play in a back 5 when they can go to City and play some of the best attacking football seen.

Marina was promoted to chief exec in 2014, was this not the same time we signed Cesc and Diego and had one of our best transfer windows?

We got Eden because we won the Champions League, f**k all to do with the money. Had we not won that he'd have joined someone else.

You're a top mong. That god you ignore me.

Our old buddy ADL says he hasn't spoken to anyone at Chelsea about Sarri. He also added

“I want to make one thing clear: this is not a club to be pillaged, this is not a club to be underestimated. I am here to discuss and have already said that, if called, I would be reasonable."

Got to be lying right?

Maybe Sarri and all the drama have been a smokescreen. We've had Conte's targets wrapped up already to avoid inflated prices and Marina is keeping this all cloak and dagger....'vacation'. Also Tupac is on an island somewhere livin the good life
