  1. 1. Here are the current favorites with Conte included. Jody Morris is in there as he is the current youth team manager, and promoting from within seems to have worked for Barca, so why not us?!

    • Luis Enrique
      7
    • Massimilliano Allegri
      10
    • Carlo Ancelotti
      18
    • Diego Simeoni
      20
    • Thomas Tuchel
      12
    • Maurizio Sarri
      57
    • Jody Morris
      18
    • Antonio Conte

Thank you. A midfielder with awful first touch can't play with Sarri, I think Bakayoko will go away.

At now, I think that the situation is:

Kante (Drinkwater) - new (new) - Fabregas (Loftus-Cheek)

Indeed, Sarri doesn't love players who drives the ball from deep, I think that you have to buy two-three midfielders.

In other sectors, the team is good, but I don't think Courtois is the perfect goalkeeper for him, Sarri is similar to Guardiola, he wants a goalkeeper good in passing, like Ederson.

I have a question for you, do you think that Sarri will fancy Willian?

Great job Marina, you lower the price with 2m.
But was it worth ? To lose so much precise time and nervous the players ?

I`m expecting another bad transfer window and another disaster season. And then will be fun here to read comments of some "specialists".

FFS could you at least try to post something positive once in a while? Or even just once? You know, to surprise us instead of being utterly predictable and boring.

Seriously, who the f**k do you think you are?

Everyone, and I mean everyone, is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how ignorant, uneducated, ill informed, outrageous or idiosyncratic. But you? According to yourself, you and you alone on this entire site have an in depth insight into the inner workings of the club, you alone know what's really going on behind the scenes.

You constantly mock and deride anyone who takes the time to disagree with your consistently single track point of view, your endless slagging off of the board, and of anyone who dares criticise Antonio Conte's tenure as manager of Chelsea FC.

Halfway through June, with the World Cup in its infancy, you're still rattling on, still mocking those who don't share this opinion of yours. Not only this, but you've already written off next season as an abject failure. "It'll be fun [fun?] to say I told you so", is the persistent theme of your each and every post, along with an endless denigration of the board, Marina in particular, because you KNOW that she and she alone is responsible for each and every problem that you or anyone else cares to mention.

I'm not going to waste my time getting involved in a Conte v Board of Directors argument, I am simply going to request that you give it a rest. Do us all (and yourself) a favour, and find something else to write about, hopefully with just a little hint of positivity.

this is obviously just a guess, but I think what holding the deal down mainly was the fact that Napoli didn't want to release Sarri's coaching staff as well, it was reported that the release clause would only release, well, Sarri alone. but recent report that I read mentioned that we're going to bring in the coaching team too, which I think is a fantastic news. it's already a monumental task for him having to adapt to new league and new players, and new coaching team would only complicate things. so (I think) the main takeaway of the recent negotiation wasn't about Hysaj etc release clause (what's 2m compared to their release clause really?) but rather about the coaching team.

Momentum seems to be building for this. Glad the club are aiming to set him up for success with Zola. Hope Cudicini stays too.

Big transfer window needed to make this change work. Transformation needed in midfield. We'll get a good picture of how successful he'll be by the start of the season.

In my opinion, yes. Hazard, Moses, Pedro, Willian, Giroud and Morata are ok, the priority is modifying the midfield. He will want to value and improve available players, so I think he will not buy a lot of players.

Sorry, but start of season will be the worst moment for Sarri and he will tell you in his first interviews.

“To say that I am going would be too easy and so first of all I want to see what will happen at Chelsea ahead of next season. I want to see if the coach stays or not.

Interesting comments from Hazard yesterday.
If anyone ever were in doubt everything is broken between Conte and most players i guess that confirms it.

Also said this:

“If I stay then it would be because they are going to improve on last season,” he said. “I am not going to remain if they are going to be worse

“Real Madrid could be interesting for me as everyone knows. They know what they have to do if they want me.

That could mean he won't stay if Conte goes.  Can be taken either way,  but let's all put the negative interpretation on it, for the sake of our anti-Conte agenda, shall we?

Anyway, I'm not totally convinced that I want Conte to stay, but taking single lines out of a whole  interview (which someone else has posted somewhere in here) and then putting our own negative connotation to it is just w**k.  Then again, as one of my good friends in here once said, why let facts get in the way of a good moan?

According to various twats on my twitter feed, it's happening.

Conte to be terminated imminently, along with the backroom staff.

Zola is flying into London as we speak.

Huzzuh!

Conte and staff terminated  Obviously desperate times call for desperate measures. Drastic though.

Don’t have to pay them off if they’re dead!

Anyway...

I’m absolutely postivily 250% sure there will be an announcement tomorrow!
