Im expecting a radical shift on Monday. Conte made it clear he sees its not working and that certain players dont work. I expect a new formation and a different selection.

4-1-4-1/2-3-4-1

                  Courtois
        Christensen - Rudiger
  Azpi          Kante       Emerson
Moses - Willian - Hazard - Alonso
                  Giroud

Subs: Caballero, Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Hudson-Odoi, Morata, Pedro, Cahill

West Brom will fancy their chances. If they play close to how they did at Anfield, this could end up 1-3. There is no way Chelsea are going to suddenly change below average performances into decent performances. Everything is so out of shape it's not going to fix itself overnight.

Hope everyone going makes it a good atmosphere. Enjoyed the last 20 mins v Bournemouth in a half empty stadium as the atmosphere was good. I will be cheering and hope for 90 mins we forget the politics and support our team.

Here's an interesting stat. Former Chelsea managers AVB and Di Matteo were both sacked right after a loss to West Brom ...

Will Conte face the same fate ?

To be honest, is it such a big deal to us fans not being in the top four, I know club need it for finances and to attract high profile players, but I enjoyed last season not having all that over hyped champions league bollox, we aren't going to win it in the next few years so what's the point, and if we don't attract the high profile primma Donnas does it matter? the likes of Ampadou and Hudson odi will get a chance, Monday night obviously want to win but would much prefer not seeing the likes of Luiz, Fabregas, Cahill in team and see Christianson(if fit) Hudson Odi and Ampadou playing, reality will be, the usual players another poor performance, Conte sulking like a big girl on touchline and a 2-2 draw if we're lucky. Roll on May

This is what I've touched on many times in the past. When you are clearly not going to win the league but are also in no danger of dropping to the relegation zone, use it as a period to blood some of the youth. Not saying throw them all in but at least give some games so they benefit for the future - or alternatively we see that they aren't good enough. But the trouble is, now top 4 and CL qualification has become such a major thing, as you say, chances are it won't happen.

Not going to CL is the worst mistake that this group would can done. We need absolutely this place in the Top4, not going in the CL 2 season on 3 will be the evidence that Chelsea isn't anymore a big club in europe, simply.

I agree to a degree, but you have to consider the prize money, top 6 all got over £140m in EPL prize money last season. The bottom half of the table average just over £100m in prize money.

However i don't understand why we don't use more youngsters in the cups, the prize money is significantly lower. Winning the FA cup totals around £4m in prize money.

Maybe just use the cups in the future to blood the youngsters, see which ones stand up to the test, and give them a shot in the first team in the league.

more like a 3-4-2-1

I was thinking that but considering we let in 7 goals in 2 games, I'd want a more defensive focus formation.

I cant say i am over confident for this one, tbh.  But on the other hand, i could  see us hammering them, making up for the last 2 games.

Lose this one though and i dread to think what will happen

This is the turning point.
The result of this match will change anything.
We'll see if anything has been said, if the players have learnt, if Conte has learnt.
I agree with Rick, I could see us hammering them but I'm not overly confident.

Out last 10 games:

DRAW - Arsenal 2-2
DRAW - Norwich 0-0
DRAW - Arsenal 0-0
DRAW - Leicester 0-0
DRAW - Norwich 1-1
WIN - Brighton 4-0
LOSS - Arsenal 1-2
WIN - Newcastle 3-0
LOSS - Bournemouth 0-3
LOSS - Watford 1-4

That's 2 wins in 10.

Here are our next 10 games:

West Brom (Home) - 2 horrendous defeats on the bounce. 2 wins in 10 games. Anything could happen.
Hull City (Home) - You'd like to think we should win easily, but look at the Norwich games.
Barcelona (Home) - Have to be realistic and say it's going to be a loss
Man Utd (Away) - Maybe snatch a draw if we're lucky, but Jose will want to prove a point again
Man City (Away) - No chance
Crystal Palace (Home) - On paper should be a win, but they have a habit of beating us recently
Barcelona (Away) - Another loss
Burnley (Away) - A very tough place to go as several big sides have found this season.
Spurs (Home) - They're a good side still fighting for 4th and they'll beat us at SB one of these years. They've certainly been getting closer recently.
West Ham (Home) - Another bogey side who only turn up against us.

Playing like we are right now, we could honestly be sitting here looking at 2 wins in 20. I'm struggling to see where the victories will come from.
