I remember him as being mostly crap but would have the odd game here and there where he looked amazing. And then he got injured/ill and was just crap after that. His popularity on here always seemed pretty arbitrary to me.

We did good business selling him for what we did and at the right time. Shame we spent it on Cuadrado.

One of my most favorite German players ever - I love André - IMHO he was the reason why Chels spanked the gooners on that Glorious Day - Helped cement wenger's legacy as 'The Specialist of Failure'

I loved playing FIFA 14 w/ André as the false 9 - loved hearing the cries of the Barca & RM fanboys lack of ability to stop Zie German in Blue

I love him too, but Ballack is my favorite German who played for Chelsea.  Horst Hrubesch is my fav German , a monster of a player.

Zie German seems to be enjoying his return back to the prem - 2 goals in 4 matches isn't too shabby

I always liked him.

Hope he smashes in plenty, just not against us!
