Mo Salah looking more and more like a one season wonder.

Liverpool will need to beat Napoli by 2 clear goals. Do-able I reckon.

I would prefer Liverpool and Tottenham to get through to the knockout rounds than get knocked down into the Europa League with us.

I think Tottenham are screwed, I can't see Inter dropping points against PSV and Tottenham won't beat Barcelona away. Tottenham aren't big time enough to go and create an upset like that.

Liverpool's group is very interesting, it's very hard to call. Liverpool tend to pull a performance out of the bag when it's needed at home in Europe, so I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to beat Napoli (1-0 or by two clear goals if Napoli score) I could easily see PSG slipping up to Red Star Belgrade too, PSG tend to slip up when they shouldn't. The ideal result would be Red Star Belgrade somehow beating PSG and Napoli beating Liverpool, then Liverpool would finish 4th and get knocked out of Europe completely.

This is true, but they don't need to be open and try and outplay City on the ball, at the very least they should be making it hard for City. Not even we had it this easy during 04-05 and 05-06 season. We were made to work for our results. Teams would set up to frustrate us defensively and would do everything to stop our players from flowing. City just turn up, rarely get pressured, teams just wait to be beaten by them. You can see the lack of fight right from kick off against City, it's like teams can't be bothered to even try. It's really dull watching Man City games because there is no competition there.

I think it's a lot to do with the fact that they only play City twice and are unlikely to get anything out of either match regardless of the effort put in, and, for most of them, dropping a maximum of 6 points isn't a huge thing.  Probably "can't be arsed" syndrome, with "I'll save myself for Bournemouth or Fulham"

Wasn't it Mick McCarthy at Wolves a few seasons back who fielded a reserve team against a top side (United?) saying that he was resting his players for a winnable game against Burnley? I'm sure they then lost to Burnley.

Never wishing to rain on ones own parade, but after a quick fact check, Wolves under Mick McCarthy did indeed make 10 changes to play United (including many players out of their natural positions) and it was in order to rest his side prior to playing fellow strugglers Burnley. However, McCarthy was somewhat justified because they actually beat Burnley 2-0 and went on to dodge relegation in the 09/10 season.

Hope Carlo and Napoli does the job in two weeks and Inter doesn't bottle it.

It'so close to the perfect scenario for me.

1 point in 6 games for Wolves. Not looking good at the moment. Their next game is against us. I guess now is the best time to play them.

Or they are just the best team to ever played this league.

Fcuk no they are.....you put this city in 2004-2009 and they would def not get easy pts every god damn game. They are good sure, but the best teams in that period would show what is up. City will very soon own the League like PSG does.....sh*t boring League it has become.

They said City made five changes today. When’s they read them out it was the strongest 5 switches I could imagine. It was not far short of like for like. And they’ve even got a couple out injured as well. Their second eleven would proabaly finish in the top four. The league was over a few weeks ago.

And if those saying they’re not actually that good are right, with a 20 point margin last year and 5 points clear on December 1st this year, it would suggest us and all the other teams are absolutely terrible. They’ve got a plus 37 goal difference after 14 games. That’s just crazy. As someone said, it’s the beginning of a PSG/Celtic type era in England.

They can put in their second string and still win the title......thats the kind of quality they have amassed these past years. Theres no way in hell anyone can touch them.......Abu dabi have sh*t all over the League.

It's French/Scottish-like league because they are the best ever... simple as that. the competiton is  good, most of the sixth teams spend money, even outside this mini super league, they were all for the title race before the season... now that we see they are good, you are complaining... don't be hipocrytes, giys.

Of course they are good......their second string can snacth the title alone. But doesnt hide the fact teams dont fight vs them......its clear they have given up before they enter the pitch. The best ever? I'll put Money our best teams will remind them what power really is.
