Laughable penaty, even Mike Dean at his prime wouldn't dare to give one like that, it's robbery in the name of VAR. I reckon this is the year UEFA wants United to win it, fairy tale and all that. It's one of the strangest game, basically a team defend deep and wait for a mistake, and got 3, 2 from the opposition and 1 gifted by the referee. Having said that, couldn't have happened to a better team like PSG, they'd want Conte or Jose if they are serious about winning the CL. I suppose a bit of positive for us, 2 extra big games for United, they will have to give something in return, most likely in the league. It's our chance to catch up and get ahead of them in the next 2-3 games.

imo all avoidable handballs should be handball, no grey area, use VAR if needed to see if it is handball, last night was a good example, the penalty could of been avoided if he never turned his back on the ball, he made himself bigger by holding out his arm, he took the risk to block a good shooting opportunity, and unfortunately for him it failed, the referee did the right thing by checking their was ball to arm contact, i would like to see any off pitch player/manager/staff be automatically red carded if they try to talk to the referee whilst he's doing his VAR procedure.

United were poor so they didn't deserve to win but PSG were so cocky and relaxed they absolutely deserved to lose.
That penalty was very open to interpretation though, his arm was in a natural position, what was he supposed to do tuck them in Ivanovic style whilst in mid air?

I believe we were as poor as any team without 10 first team players can be......would Chelsea get past PSG without hazard , Kante , Jorgi , Willian, Higuain ? with a 2-0 deficit?

Good news for us as more games for them and will no doubt drop more points in league.

They keep saying that but we keep moving along game by game

Excuse the pun but you were handed that last night.

PSG are a joke, they don't usually have to manage a game in their league, they just play how they want to, but that don't cut it when you meet better teams from better leagues., they forgot the basics of game management, when you have a 2-0 1st leg lead, keep it tight first 20, don't give anything stupid away late on, they broke both rules miserably again, they will never learn in that league with no other ££ backed clubs competing with them.

Looking at it from a neutral point of view I agree, PSG threw it away , they had us over a barrel and some how couldnt get it up. With the team we had out last night they must have thought it would be walk in the Parc!

Definitely spawned it last night but you dont win anything unless you've got a spawn or two in the bag.

And Mbappe?  I thought he was terrible in the second half.  I felt bad for de Maria, he played well IMO, and some of his passes should have resulted in goals.

What sickens me the most is that Ferdinand could be proven right about his prediction an the start of the season about United finishing above us in the league. How the f**k did it get to this point!!!

I have a massive dislike for a majority of the players in our team. How we went from Champions of Europe to Struggling to reach top 4 in seven years, allowing the scum that is Liverpool and Tottenham over take us is a "f**king Disgrace"!

I don't think any of those teams have overtaken us in 7 years. Yes, they have finished in a better position than us in the league in recent times, but we have actually won things. Liverpool and Tottenham have won bugger all in 7 years, we have won the Europa League, 2 FA Cups, 1 League cup and 2 Premier League titles.

Yet if you were to put money on who was going to be more successful over the next decade where would you put your money on current form? Both Spurs and Pool are in a much better position to progress than us at the moment, so if Roman doesn't pull his finger out we could end up falling further away from challenging.

I would still put money on us to be more successful than Spuds in the next decade, and if Liverpool go another season under Klopp without a trophy, then I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped off.

Based on what?

Spurs being Spursy.

Even when we are having a poor season, we still managed to get to a cup final and knock them out on the way to that cup final.
