That's far from being the train wreck we think we're in at the moment.  Of course we would have to land those players, but a first team like that is some what realistic, even at this late stage of the transfer window.

Giroud said that him and Hazard had been trying to persuade fekir to come here. So maybe this one is the club saying to hazard, we got who you wanted, so sign on the dotted line.

If we manage to sign Kepa, Kova and Fekir before friday that would be massive.

Can't see it after potentially splashing 71m on a Kepa

I think that if we got all of those four it would be, on paper, the best window since we signed Fabregas and Costa. 

If Fekir did sign, I could only assume Willian is leaving, presumably to United with Martial not coming the other way.

United are desperate for a RW.

Giving them Willian at this point without demanding Martial in return would be foolish. Even if we got Fekir we could definitly do with more firepower up front. And Martial is a better striker than anyone we have.

I just wonder what we do with our squad if we signed Marital and Fekir (which I can't see happening). 

Willian goes to United in exchange and then Michy B presumably joins Seville on loan?

Fekir is the player France brought on in the World Cup? To be fair he looked pretty dire. 

Got to honest, I think this is a bs rumour to add some hype to deadline day, Kepa & Kovacic will definitely happen, Fekir won’t.

Yea, but he’s been brilliant for Lyon, I watched them a fair bit and he’s class, don’t think he’ll come anyway.

Can only really see this happening if Willian leaves.

If Willian stays and Michy leaves then maybe we will be after a striker instead. I want Morata to succeed here but I'd be more confident with Michy leading the line but I found it worrying that he didn't get pre-season minutes last night.

I’d love him to get a chance, but I think he’s heading out on loan, either now or within the next 3 weeks to Spain, don’t think Sarri has much of say in it as it sounds. 

There’s also the chance of Lyon offering us Fekir for a price today or tomorrow, the manager seems happy to see him go and maybe they need money for new players...

I want this to happen so badly. And the folks that I've heard complain about congestion (not necessarily on here, just in general) is not a worry for me. Its good to have depth and competition at every position (look at City)

Couldn’t agree more, there are still a few players that we’re trying to sell or loan, that’ll free up some space, besides we don’t have the greatest strength in depth and we need to improve that. My only gripe is if Fekir comes in, Michy looks set to leave and I think it’s a shame someone like Morata will get the nod ahead of him, how much of that has to do with price tag and reputation?

I read that Lyon upped the price to £63m, not sure how true. Wasn't he offered to Liverpool for £50m

lets be honest if you had said to me on Sunday we'd sign Kovacic and Kepa i would have laughed at you.

 

Never say never with our club.  Especially at the end of a window.  Yes admittedly i thought we were finished for business, but this Fekir stuff wont go away
