Christian Pulisic - Official

Granny-shagger is an idiot tho. He isn't the sharpest tool in the shed

Rooney at least had a fantastic IQ on the pitch.

If Pulisic was as dumb in his day to day life as he is on the pitch he'd need 24/7 care.

Rooney and Pulisic are an interesting parallel actually, both recieved absurd levels of hype from their national media's when they were 16 and both were saddled with the hopes and pressures of a nation.

But If Rooney flopped as badly as Pulisic has for his entire career after the hype he got at 16 any hyped youth player that just didn't deliver at all at senior level would he called another Rooney by the press here.

Probably shows the difference between the U.S media and the British media.

Always felt the media had it out for Wayne because he came across as the most unpolished and typical working class person just with a ridiculous level of natural ability and the expectations placed on him as the most talented player of the golden generation.  Don't think he'd have got as much stick if he looked like Becks either.

Pulisic missed the US game with a slight knock, they are not sure if he will be fit to face Saudi in Spain on the 27th.

Sadly not surprised to hear he is injured again. Apparently it was an unspecified injury, so hard to know whether it is serious.

Is concerning though with our struggles of late. Kova, then Kante and now Pulisic? 3 key players in the first 2 months of the season...

Apparently he twisted his ankle tripping over a pile of unsold copies of his autobiography ...

Not sure I'd include Pulisic as a key player these days. He barely features even when he is fit.

Perhaps explains why Potter is allegedly trying to get CHO back from Leverkusen in January.

Maybe carefully read my post above? 😉

I thought that Pulisic would come good after his nice stretch in form under Lampard but those days are well in the past. I think he's a good player but is missing confidence and fitness and I'm not sure he'll ever be fit to truly carve out and actually be able to hold a starting spot at Chelsea. I know the club seems disinterested in moving him on but I don't see where exactly he fits in and think the club needs to turn the page and move on from Pulisic and Ziyech and look to the future and get some attacking players in that can actually make an impact for Potter.

The problem is, I don't reasonably see where Pulisic could go. He's on relatively high wages so it's hard to see a club outside England want to bring him in. Maybe Everton could make a move and he could link up with Lampard but I can't really see any of the other clubs have the money to sign him and pay him. Possibly Newcastle but again, I don't see how he actually makes that team much better

But seriously, isn't autobiography for sports people nearing end of their career,

Nothing for stupidity or desperation not sure which but Stephen Hendry being on This Is Your Life when he was 21 takes some beating. Soon as the red book was in front of him he said but I'm only 21 !.

Graham Potter face in first training session, watching Pulisic

It seems he's on the way out.

It's a matter of finding the right team will pay what Chelsea is asking for.

Latest rumor is that Juventus is opening talks with his agent. Perhaps a Jan move could be on the horizon.

If things no longer work out, it's best to just move on for both parties involved.

We can find highlight reels of what Pulisic had done to best of clubs out there (Madrid, Liverpool, City, etc.).

Sadly, we haven't seen it for way too long now.

Rumours today we're trying to Push Pulisic out the door in January but want 31m

There's absolutely no chance of getting that fee,  he wasn't worth anywhere near 31m when we signed him and his stock has hardly been on the rise the last 2 years albeit he's been far better for us than He was for Dortmund.

Is it Turkish Lira? If so that sounds about right.

Nothing says the pound has collapsed like Pulisic being worth £31m in 2022.

Interesting!

I now pay less for whiskey from the UK if I pay in USD vs BP.

Sometimes it's best to write off your losses and move on.
