BlueCo buy Chelsea FC

With this ownership and these SD’s recruitment model we’ll 100% be playing Championship football before we’re playing Champions League.

The absolute best case short term solution is to lose the FA Cup so we avoid European football entirely, the financial implications from that HAVE to lead to someone’s sacking somewhere and then MAYBE, just f**king MAYBE a sensible replacement that will start to shed some light on the absolute incompetency rotting the club from the inside.

Regardless of what we think of the ownership (They’re all absolute c**ts) they’re Septics and they’re Finance Bro’s. The only thing they understand is money and if CFC LDN isn’t generating it they’ll start to pay some attention to the reasons why.

No European income.

No FOS income.

Smallest Stadium income out of the ‘Big 6’

If you look at any area of the club, it is not doing well - financial, youth, manager, shirt sponsor, players, stadium. Zero progress on any of the areas.

I’ve always been quite open minded about Clearlake but it’s clear that it’s not working.

The fish rots from the head down.

In all fairness to callum his hands are tied behind his back. He’s not going to be the next manager and he wants to keep his job at Chelsea so he’s just going to regurgitate everything Liam and Maresca were saying all season

Thing is any serious new manager will want to bring in their own team, so where would leave Callum and the rest of the current coaching staff? Presumably out of work and they know it.

I have always found the anger directed towards Carragher when he talks about us to be a bit over the top. I don't like the guy, but 90% of the time, what he says is the truth when it comes to this ownership. I think the reasons why people get angry about what he says is because it's coming from a former Liverpool player, and a Scouser.

Direct that anger at our own who stay silent out of fear of being blacklisted by the club.

Sporting directors need to go, but under BlueCos model with our debt what can even Luis Campos or our dear Marina do?

Some are worried about our status as an elite club, I'm worried about us having a club at all!

Only way we survive is Blueco out!

This is how I feel. I just want to look at our club and see something positive to look forward to, but there's nothing. Even if by some miracle they did sell up, how much of the club will we have left before that happens?

If they were to sell right now, we still have a UEFA sanction hanging over our heads, we still have record losses, we are still awaiting an outcome of these 74 charges, we have an awful squad, no sponsor, zero change on what is going to happen with stadium plans.

A new owner today couldn't fix much of this, just the sponsorship issues really. The damage has already been done, so from here, it's about how much worse it gets before they leave and a new owner can come in and start working on fixing it.

As it stands, I don't see us as a top club anymore, I think the CWC is as good as it's going to get for a long time. The phase we have reached now is a club that has spiralled out of control. If a new owner came in today, that would be the thing to stop first. That won't be happening though so I fully expect BlueCo to take us into the next phase, which will be selling the most valuable players, the phase after that will be a relegation fight, then the next one will be relegation itself. The longer it takes to get them out, the closer we get to being relegated, something I can see happening within the next 2 or 3 seasons.

The issue I have with the c**t is that he's creaming his pants whilst he is saying this stuff. I'm not saying any of it is wrong I just despise everything about this bloke and I particularly hate the glee that is evident whenever he says these things.

Agreed on all points

I don’t hate in my day to day life it brings negativity and ages you. Hate does nothing but stop your progress HOWEVER, I think this is first time in my life I truly hate someone. Each and every one of them can I HATE THEM.

I would not piss on them if they were on fire and I mean it.

If the Sporting Directors get sacked and BlueCo swallow their pride and admit that what works for an NBA/NHL franchise does not work in football and bring a manager that works hand in hand with the new Sporting Director, things can still be saved as long as we sell.

If there is one positive thing about all this messed up situation is that we have so much dross in the squad that still have value on the market because of their age and because they have not tarnished their reputation yet. Or, in the case of someone like Delap, Chalobah, Tosin, the good thing is they are still viewed as decent players in England and even mid to lower table clubs are rich.

It can be done as long as the right men are in charge. Will BlueCo accept they have miserably failed? Will they try to fix things without the existing Sporting Directors? Let's see where we are by mid June. If these five clowns are still in charge, I have no hope anymore and unfortunately I think in the next couple of season we will watch the slow death of this football club.

The entire football world and sports journalists are ridiculing them and calling them idiots. Their egos are getting battered, they are losing and will lose money and that’s the only hope we have.

The more money they lose the more they get battered in the media the higher chance we have of them having to change course now.

Sack the clowns get rid of all of them.

Any review that includes:

A list of players bought and their price, their current true market price & their sale price wont make good reading.

Further to that the list of failed manager / coach's with reasons why, wont make good reading.

And the current achievements or lack of them for the team might give an underlying view to the very low true value of remaining/ existing players.

I wouldnt fancy presenting this sorry tale as potential key achievements.

Weve brought in 40-45 players since Blue Co. took over, my old boss would have had me talk through in detail each one, before he sacked me.

This article sums it up depressingly well. Any self-reflection that actually happens cannot just end with a new manager. There needs to be a full overhaul of the appalling staff that they employed. When Todd was making the decisions, he did at least employ somebody who had some of the basic qualifications in Vivell. Since then we have employed a series of SD's who are totally underqualified and out of their depth

Here are 15 reasons why Chelsea are in an unacceptable state - The Athletic

If Xavi & De Zerbi to name but two are being considered then i am of the belief that their pursuit will be driven by Eghbali and not the SDs.

It would be suicide for the SDs to bring in a disruptor, they must be under instruction to do it.

I dont wish to get too excited but i think there just might be light at the end of the tunnel.

Come On Eghbali ! sort these charlatans out preferably all five of them, then the medics and finally the under qualified coaching staff.

Before I kicked the radio across the room, at least 2 callers to TalkSport said our owners WILL get it right. They both gave the same reason why it's an inevitably.

"Those guys are very wealthy, you don't get that rich if you don know what you're doing"

AND this is an explanation of why people think that way.....

Psychological Biases

  • The Halo Effect: This is a cognitive bias where our overall impression of a person (e.g., "they are rich") influences how we perceive their other traits, such as intelligence or character. If someone is successful in business, we automatically, though incorrectly, assume they are competent in other areas like personal finance, relationships, or politics.

  • Just World Fallacy: People often believe the world is fair and that outcomes are deserved. Therefore, they assume that someone with high wealth must have gathered it through superior skill, hard work, and "knowing what they are doing," rather than luck, inheritance, or exploitation.
