I would expect so, just keep topping up the squad with a few purchases and a few from the youth. Its obviously a big gamble, but if it works it sets us up for years. Its also apparently what he did when he bought the baseball team, loaded them up with youth on long contracts and rode out a few early rough years to end up with an outstanding squad.

Surprised about the Baba Rahman facts. His loan club is paying 3% of his wages and we are paying the rest. He's actually on more than some of our current players who are at the club. Some of those signings that failed for us under the old regime are still costing us.

Samuel should have been sent off at the stroke of all time in the first leg after hauling down Kalou, which should have been a penalty to give us a chance to effectively (with away goals) go infront and give us an entire half to develop an even bigger advantage. To add further insult Samuel was colossal in the second leg when he should have been suspended.

Then the second leg we should have got two first half penalties which (if converted) would have put us in pole position to go through.

It made my skin crawl when Jose two rounds later (when facing Barca) made the "my Chelsea boys were crying" comment in his post match interview.

I really wish Enzo deal to happen but i doubt it, 120m in one go is just too much

It would be over 200mill as Enzo is the only one that can pay the clause, we pay Enzo, I counts as wages and gets taxed heavily.

Only gets done if Benfica agree to deal.

Nah it doesn't get taxed. That's just a weird rumour that spread.

I think a combination of that, fans still being attached to Mourinho and us not having much against Inter compared to Barca meant it didn't cause as much outrage as the year before but we were still on the receiving end of some utterly scandalous decisions.

Fabrizio has said our owners are not worried about breaching FFP or the rule change for the summer. They are confident in the people we have looking after the books and the project carries on as planned  

I hope Todd continues to play dirty and follows Man City and PSG's footsteps by creating a fake sponsor. That's when UEFA will finally have the eggs on their faces.

Meh what are they doing? It's now been more than 48 hours without a signing... THE CLUB IS DOOMED!

The Barca hate was compounded by that team being labeled one of the best teams in football history when our team was better

City have incalculable oil funds and political influence, we joke about backhanders at this level of society from afar but there is no question of it when you see how clear the cheating is with those fake sponsors. The only legitimate, but very dodgy way, is that they are pooling revenue from all of their feeder clubs into city, whilst allowing those individual clubs to run at a loss. 

I'd be interested to see comparable revenues for those clubs vs other clubs in their league. 

E.g. all their clubs have fly Etihad on their shirts. Do they receive any revenue for that, or does it all go to man city? 

Logically if I'm a legitimate sponsor, I'm spending more to see my name on a shirt for man city, Melbourne city and New York City, than I am for just man united or Chelsea. 

But that money should be marked against all three clubs, not just man city. 

Of course, I've not seen any information on this. Because it's just this unspoken rule that man city are allowed to be the biggest revenue club despite having a much smaller following globally than the historically big clubs.

Should have had at least 2 pens, but if it was a fix you gotta wonder why he sent a Barca player off with 20 odd minutes to go. ? We were thru with that early goal, ref f**ked it up, what a sh*te night that was.

They also inflated their revenue figures, all this was revealed but they seem to get away with it  I think PL are still investigating City ?

I reckon they are too scared of their legal team to actually punish them .
