None of which is of any benefit to the football team ? Maybe I'm missing something, but with that level of spending we should have continued being an elite club.instead of a laughing stock club
October 8, 2025Oct 8 They take us as mugs and insult our intelligence. It's going to take a lot more than half arsed protests where fans are chanting we hate Spurs the majority of the time for the club to actually change their ways.

I'd say about 50% of our signings any casual football fan could tell you we were over paying. We set a precedent in that first window that we'll spend stupid amounts of money on average players and now we get fleeced for it. Just three random screenshots from our last few windows, would anyone have said these players were worth what we paid for them at the time, or even now?

We had a bloated squad of like 50 players and had no choice but to get these players out because of that UEFA charge. It's just partly cleaning up the mess they created.

From the board pov, our sd has done brilliant job.Oh so questioned whether or not the club is a mess you replied on behalf of the board? That's nice, giving them a voice here. Next time you speak on their behalf, ask them how alienating the supporters, ticketing policy and no front of shirt sponsor are in line with the Brighton stragegy. October 9, 2025Oct 9 I was reading through this article yesterday about the goal music and I thought it hit the nail on the head... I can't stand it.Always been a pet peeve of mine, just another Americanism to try and manufacture an atmosphere that we don't need help with

That’s awesome. Please tell them I said hi - and do them to sack Fraudesca!

October 10, 2025Oct 10 This after goal music crap made it onto the ‘in my opinion’ feature on 5 Live’s breakfast show this morning. And the Chelsea fan who wants it gone appeared to get universal support from all quarters that music after goals is not wanted or needed. Not often one of those discussions doesn’t polarise people. But I expect it’s here to stay at Stamford Bridge. But will they play it almost immediately after a goal or will they wait a minute or two in case VAR disallow it?And will we be playing it if we score a last minute consolation goal when 3-0 down?
October 10, 2025Oct 10 f**king embarrassing. Kieran Maguire on Chelsea’s FOS hold up: “The price that Chelsea have been quoting to sponsors has been one where everyone has walked out the door. The owners feel the value of the club is significantly higher than what would appear to be the case from an advertiser’s perspective.” Looking forward to 8 years time when they try to sell the club at their valuation and no one agrees to it. Stuck with the c**ts for eternity.
October 10, 2025Oct 10 How about this from the NFL ? You need to pay a one off fee for a PSL seat licence which then grants you the right to buy a season ticket for that seat !!. You don't have to be on intimate terms with anyone to work that one out Jim ,.

You're just stating that the owners think they are doing a good job The award of another 6 years on their contracts is all the evidence you need to know that what you said is true ....In August....vvv"The Blues have handed bumper six-year contract extensions to co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart as well as recruitment chiefs Joe Shields and Sam Jewell. The new deals will run until 2031. It’s a massive show of faith and confidence in the quartet’s vision and the progress the club has made under their guidance."
October 11, 2025Oct 11 There remains an ongoing competitive process for the front-of-shirt sponsor with Chelsea believed to have had offers but focused on aligning with the right long-term partner. The club is aiming to strike a deal worth £60m-£65m per season. I reckon no one is offering close to their ask.
October 11, 2025Oct 11 Since when were SD’s on extendable contracts? Is this a normal thing in football?

We aren’t champions league regulars and under these directors we could genuinely be always battling for Top 4 every season vs being an established champions league regulars.
