April 11, 20197 yr Oh yeah, my bad! Not sure why I thought he was really tall. I just think he looks quite lanky!! He is 6’1 so still not exactly small for a goalkeeper! Maybe not tiny but I'd say he's definitely smaller than average for a goalkeeper.
April 11, 20197 yr Author Another late+75 min goal, may as well just turn up to watch the last 15 minutes of our games in future.

I think he's been poor, not as poor as some of the others, but I think it's very far fetched to say he has had a great game. That was the first time tonight I have seen a bit of quality from him, before then, it was pretty much a standard Willian performance.
April 11, 20197 yr Alonso's run and header very good to be fair to him. His 2/10 rating went up to 6.

He was passing by multiple players in the first half and crossing the ball as well, hit the bar too.

April 11, 20197 yr People saying Hazard is too good to Chelsea are on to something. These kind of games just shows that in ugly way.
April 11, 20197 yr Nice goal. I hope this won't mean we will have to watch Alonso on the pitch in the next game.

Passing multiple players and putting in awful crosses, his final ball has been awful. He lost the ball multiple times throughout the game too, and instead of getting on with it, he's been throwing his arms in the air.
April 11, 20197 yr I know we had to rotate and I’m glad we’ve got the win but I hope I never have to watch this line up for Chelsea again. It’s absolutely honking, one of the worst performances of the season. Alas, we won and that’s all that matters!

April 11, 20197 yr even with a 1-0 win i still think that we are an absolutely appalling team in the final third. Clearly there is no training in this area because we are shockingly bad.
April 11, 20197 yr Well that is one of the most horrendous games of football I've ever had the misfortune to watch. Anyway a wins a win, one foot in the next round.
April 11, 20197 yr Brilliant night of football with some entertaining stuff. Fan favorite Marcos Alonso with a world class finish to cap it off with the winner. Things couldnt be better. Well done lads!!

But when you put that in perspective with the rest, he was one of the best players out there, maybe that's not much in general but in this game it was pretty helpful xD
April 11, 20197 yr So if arsenal score in Naples they’ve put Napoli out, that would be quite some achievement as I must admit I expected them to get beaten comfortably tonight.

Italian teams blow hot and cold. One game they look like world beaters, then they look like sh*t. Both Juventus and Napoli have been like that in Europe this season.
