Looks good on paper, but is it good enough to get out of a group stage in the Champion's League and finish in the Top 4?  I'm not interested in alternating between Europa League and Champions League every year.  This is why I don't know why we wouldn't appeal the ban to CAS.  If we accept ban and finish 5th or 5th, we're back in the Europa League.  You know City will look to improve to repel another Liverpool challenge, Liverpool will strengthen to try to overtake City, United will spend a ton to get into the Top 4, Spurs may have to replace Erikson, and Arsenal have to improve after another bad fade.  So it may not be the best year to accept the ban.

Be quite a gross profit for sure, and I think you even estimated on the low side for a handful of them.  Could see us getting in the range of 225-250m, especially with Marina getting her way.

Edit: For example, Newcastle (I think it was Benitez but can't remember) said that we wanted 30m for Kenedy, so they wouldn't buy him.  If that's our asking price, I don't think it's crazy to think that we would get minimum 20m for him

Morata has another year on his Atletico loan so cannot see his sale happening till next summer, Alonso we are not moving on his contract is way too large for most and the ones who could afford him I doubt would want him. Not even close to a top 4 team that. Yes some of our youngsters look good, but most of them are not at the level some people believe. Mount for example, a good, not great, championship player this year.

Our two best, and also two of the only goalscorers in the squad, are injured until Christmas most likely.

massive sigh, usually there is optimism going into the summer but with the transfer ban and now looking like we are losing Sarri to Juve, I just don't feel optimistic at all. That squad doesn't inspire hope. With that being said, I can't see us selling Bats since we will be needing options up top, even with Giroud and potentially Tammy.. lets get this season over with and hopefully we stay in Europe.

I think Zappa is a good bench option, Reece James has just one season in the Championship under his belt, we should be blooding in youngsters next season but if it turns out he can't handle the PL we have insurance.

MvG came off a good season (according to stats) scoring 14 league goals and 4 assists in 28 matches and beating Ajax to the title before getting injured. It is his second long term injury so we don't know how good he'll be when he comes back, I think he's worth more than £2m though.

Jorginho has just come into form there's no way we should be selling him now, certainly not to accommodate Bakayoko!

It's a bit sad state of affairs at the moment. Had everything been good, this transfer window is the perfect time to refresh and rejuvenate the squad.

I’ve just read we can still sign players on loan. They could be the key to us, if Hazard does go to Madrid then bale on loan would be a nice sweetener.

Teams will know our situation and there are plenty of top class players that don’t work in a system or have manager conflict etc.

Between our players on loan and the possibility of loaning more players especially from Real Madrid who have bought/nearly bought  2 players we didn’t want to sell 2 seasons in a row they will surely be happy to help out.

Nope no new player loans or signings.

My word that squad is depressing without Hazard or signings. Personally not the biggest fan of the youth, of course RLC and CHO were a success but for others, I’m not sure. Mount, Abraham and Reece James seemed to be our most hyped, but the premier league is a whole new world to the championship

I think if we even could sign Sane it’s a bad idea as he likes to play on the left, and CHO is wasted when he isn’t on the left.

Yeah sorry I meant RB. That would make it Azpi and Reece James at RB and we sign a world class LB to compete with Emerson or even get ahead of him.

I think signing Sane is a fantastic idea. Wingers of Pulisic, CHO and Sane? Definitely a huge upgrade on Willian and Pedro, just a shame that it seems highly unlikely to happen.

I think we have an ideal situation at RB and a less than ideal one at LB.

In theory I would of course take Sane but I just think it stunts CHO’s progress unless Sane can play at a high level on the right. He is left footed which is a massive plus.
