Sucks for Wolves, Europa league it is.  They probably wont have anything to play for in our last game as well.

I really really hope so.

Fantastic for us, they're out the race. It's looking like Utd and Chelsea now seeing as Leicester are in horrible form and have injuries and suspensions, with them having to play Utd as well. I think we can come 4th with 1 point.

So barring a astronomical collapse our rivalry with The Dirty Leeds can recommence for a season at least (and hopefully at most).

Beat bottom of the league Barnsley tomorrow and that’s it

i for one can’t wait, football is nothing without rivalry - and of course it will be great to take 6 points of them if we can ......

in all seriousness and through gritted teeth they deserve it they have been the best team in the division for the past two seasons in my opinion .... of course it was super Frank that did them last season ?

Obviously I absolutely hate this top four race going to the wire, but on the flipside it is a little exciting because this must be the tighest top four race in a long time.

In front of no one ?.... although the pundits And Tv will do them proud !!

Our players won't be there either, not like it's a cup final. We might be giving a guard of honour though.. If I remember right we get one the next match after winning the title and the match before picking up the trophy at home.

If my maths is correct - if United and Leicester both win their next two games, and we lose to Liverpool, then going into the final day we would be 2 points behind both with worse goal difference.

And if that happens, both teams would be incentivised to play out a draw to ensure they both progress, and even if we beat Wolves we miss out on GD?

That would certainly be an interesting scenario, I don't imagine both teams would go into it looking for a draw but you can imagine if it's tied at the 65th minute neither team is going to do anything overly risky to push for a win in the final third of the match.
