July 15, 20206 yr Fantastic for us, they're out the race. It's looking like Utd and Chelsea now seeing as Leicester are in horrible form and have injuries and suspensions, with them having to play Utd as well. I think we can come 4th with 1 point.

Beat bottom of the league Barnsley tomorrow and that’s it i for one can’t wait, football is nothing without rivalry - and of course it will be great to take 6 points of them if we can ...... in all seriousness and through gritted teeth they deserve it they have been the best team in the division for the past two seasons in my opinion .... of course it was super Frank that did them last season ?
July 15, 20206 yr Obviously I absolutely hate this top four race going to the wire, but on the flipside it is a little exciting because this must be the tighest top four race in a long time.

We might be giving a guard of honour though.. If I remember right we get one the next match after winning the title and the match before picking up the trophy at home.
July 15, 20206 yr The worst thing about it is they might really want to win to feel better about the trophy that they have won weeks ago...

July 15, 20206 yr If I was Klopp I would drop VVD and Allison for the next game after those clangers.

July 15, 20206 yr couple of results go our way tomorrow night and we could be home and hosed before the weekend come on Chelsea!
July 15, 20206 yr TAA should be missing against us, but Liverpool get yet another favour from the VAR jokers: https://twitter.com/afcironman/status/1283498142604853248?s=20
July 16, 20206 yr If my maths is correct - if United and Leicester both win their next two games, and we lose to Liverpool, then going into the final day we would be 2 points behind both with worse goal difference. And if that happens, both teams would be incentivised to play out a draw to ensure they both progress, and even if we beat Wolves we miss out on GD? That would certainly be an interesting scenario, I don't imagine both teams would go into it looking for a draw but you can imagine if it's tied at the 65th minute neither team is going to do anything overly risky to push for a win in the final third of the match.
