Big big game this weekend..............especially as Jose has often out-witted our managers with his tactics, especially when we are away (yes apart from the 4nil obvs) -  remebering the 2nil when Herrara man marked Eden to oblivion.

His tactics at Spurs have mirrored Manu already, 433 with very defensive mid-3 and quick counter attack game using front 3 and quick/long balls. We all remember last year with Son out-pacing our midfield - expect a repeat of that. He has stopped the full backs bombing on as much as expect them to sit deep, invite us on and counter-attack as though they are the away team.

Hope Frank has learned from the past and recent weeks as teams effectively block us off and then 'kill-us-off'...................so hope he will tweak our setup and tactics and selection - Kante holding in deep role and Mount not Pulisic on the left and sitting a little deeper maybe. A little less fluency and clever play, and a bit more battling and holding.

We all respect Jose but what a treat if Frank and boys can turn them over.................................or even a battling draw.

I would settle for a draw.

Personally, if I was in the hot seat I would try and frustrate them waiting for JM to change his formation which would probably be to go 3 at the back and then go for them.

Conte pretty much ruled Jose like Jose did Wenger.

Derby knocked Utd out the cup last season so let's pray Lamps can do the same.

    Respect Jose? Not anymore, can't stand the little prick. Burnt his bridges long ago, in Romans era got a lot more time for Claudio, Carlo, RDM, Conte (even the sulky girl version), Sarri, even would rather listen to the FSW these days. Sorry Jose your a little bloke that wants to be loved, but sadly can't endear yourself to anyone.

    If you move to sh*te fart lane that's it, those are the rules, allways hase been all ways will be. Next some will be telling me they respoect Judas Durie or Poyet...

    Unfortunatley and realistically I am preparing to be beat, it is my insurance policy. because I am not going to hear the end of it from the scum, and I don't want it to ruin my christmas cheer :-)

    Frank is not ready to go toe to toe with Jose and frankly (no pun), as much as I love Frank the love in between the two of them is going to be a bit puke.

    The only time they've faced off so far, Lampard thoroughly outplayed him with a weaker side.

    Top top performance and tactics from lamps and the boys - the right selection, tactics and setup. Everyone played top notch - Kante and kova completely outplayed their static midfield. Masons fluidity perfect, azpi and Marcus always in the game and the CBs defending properly. And then Willian- one of his best ever IMV.

    but credit to Frank as the prep and performance top class. 

    Now, let's win well at home

    I don't dislike Jose, still, I really don't. But it does annoy me when people think Jose is beyond criticism and the fans must show him respsect. He's went to two of our rivals, what manager has ever managed 3 of the top 6 clubs in Britain? And he stoops to every level to win a game, that means going at the fans and club, I knew he was going to be an enemy as soon as he went to United, he can't help himself. 

    It doesn't bother me too much though, that's why we loved Jose, he did everything to win. Fortunately for us I believe we got him at his best years, United definitely didn't and I don't think Spurs will either, it'll end in tears and little to show for it. 

    His comments just there were expected, I'm glad to see him and Frank still had mutual respect, I don't think he'll ever come to blows with Frank (I hope not anyway, that's when he's really sunk). But I don't hold it against any Chelsea fan who hates him.
