I think Utd could win because they are just fitter, Villarreal have looked leggy from 20 minutes in. But then again there's only 30 minutes to hold on for pens.

Cavani, McT and the super impressive Shaw have turned up for them at least..

Yeah I expect United go on and take this. Credit to the yellow subs though, done way better than I expected.

Has anybody noticed just how slow Spanish teams play these days? Also, their fitness levels seem to be really low. The players look completely drained and they turn like a tank, passing the ball seems like hard work for them. I noticed it with Barcelona, Atletico and Real this season as well.

Imagine if United had conceded after McTominay spent like a minute on the floor instead of helping his team defend.

If that was the other way round, United would be getting that pen 100%.

VAR? Imagine shooting and getting your shot that is going to hit the target blocked by a hand and the refs and experts saying that it's not a penalty because nothing matters anymore the player somehow didn't mean to touch the ball with the hand...
