I really like Don Carlo and if we are not meant to win the league this season I hope Everton does it, hell with the pandemic champions!

Liverpool got so many favourable VAR decisions last season and this season it seems like the complete opposite, very strange but I don't expect it to carry on.

Nice work VAR, clearly robbed Liverpool. Considering how many decisions went in their way last season, I don't have much sympathy for them. If they lose Van Dijk for large chunk of the season, it may just turn the title race into a multiple horses race this season.

Liverpool asking the Premier League to investigate VAR because something has gone against them is laughable. They have forgotten the times when they have had it go in their favour when it shouldn't have.

People call us a classless club, but we have had more sh*t VAR decisions than most and we have barely said a word.

I can't believe they have questioned a VAR offside call, maybe a handball or foul you could understand, but offside, its blaming the actual technology.

Expect VAR to be revamped within days. VAR cannot be said to be working as intended when Liverpool drop points.

They are, though, 100% right to raise the incompetence of VAR officials, and to question the moment at which the picture was frozen for the offside goal decision. IMO offsides that are so marginal should be deemed 'too close to call' because the technology is simply not accurate enough. The 'T-shirt' rule about how much of the arm is considered part of the shoulder is absurdly arbitrary and subjective, and cannot be consistently applied to give precise measurements to the nearest millimetre.

I seem to recall the official who failed to review the Pickford challenge on VvD was the tw@t who failed to give a red card to Spuds for the Lo Celso(?) stamp of Azpi(?) but then announced midway through the second half he'd got it wrong.

On the topic of VAR, anyone see MotD last night, which claimed Werner got away with a handball in the build-up to the second goal? Apart from the fact that the ball struck his bicep (right on the Tshirt line), how far back in a move do you go? He still had to lob the ball over the keeper before heading it in, so the handball did not immediately lead to the goal scoring opportunity.

Though I'm quite happy for everything to go wrong for them, that was a horrible "tackle" by Pickford.

Should have been a red card in my mind. The ball does not have to be in play, in fact the match can be over and a red card can still be giving!

Caught the last 35mins of Fulham unlucky not to get 3 points, great goal by Lookman.

Mitrovic not clinical and then fouls a mans in his own box from a corner.

1-1 and Fulham get their first point though should have been three.

RLC was playing and did ok though nothing too special, it seems on today's evidence like he has turned into Barkley. 😄

Palace get their just deserts. They really are the dullest team. I don’t know how their fans can watch them week after week. I certainly wouldn’t be watching any of their games on pay per view if I was them.
I know we as fans would like chelsea to be a bit more stoic at the back but give me entertainment any day over dross like this

Well that had a spicy ending, Dunk sent off for taking out Cahill.

Brighton scored a decent equaliser and that vertically challenged Right back showed more than a little potential. 🙄

Bugger. 1-0 Sp*rs already.

Bit worried that Mourinho is putting together a decent side there.

Might have to back-track in my "Mourinho finished" theory!!

Their defence isn’t great and Hugo Howler is always likely to concede.

Son, Kane and Bale is an unbelievable front 3. We could end up 5-5 against them.

I'm gonna put a few quid on Tottenham winning the league. Second season Mourinho with that front three will be very, very dangerous. Kane is insane.
