Watford are fighting for their lives with new Manager Dilly Dally Ding Dong. They just wiped The floor with ManU. People are not giving enough credit to them. Not an easy game by any means.

If we score early, could score 4 or 5 since they got a pretty average defence. However, if not it could be a struggle, and if they get a piece of luck, a point is not out of question for them. The United game is an one-off where the players gave up on Ole, pity we didn't get a chance to play United that weekend. No mucking around and plan too far ahead, 3 points against Watford is as good as 3 against West Ham.

I wouldn't even use the Utd game as a new manager bounce excuse. Utds performance on Sunday is being overrated by many. They would've performed no worse under Ole. We were the ones who had no ideas in attack mixed with terrible finishing. City or Liverpool would've ended the game in the first half. We really need to step up in the final 3rd tonight.

Can we actually shoot from outside the box more, especially when teams sit deeper. There were ample opportunities for Ruben when we played Utd, but he decided to pass.

Never seen that in RLC's locker yet Rudi hit the cross bar from distance last time out.

Not sure we have anyone else good from distance, a number are reasonable around the box when time and space allow.

I know what you mean it is frustrating, but realistically it's our style to retain possession high up the pitch, it's where our defending starts, we pin teams in, makes it harder to break them down, exactly what happened on Sunday.

A little frustrating TT left it until late before getting on a forward decent in the air, last time out.

2-2 Suarez last minute equalizer same game he bit Iva.

Ah the bite happened on his watch. That is why we made such little fuss over it. Good memory. 👍

Alonso, James, Chalobah and Barkley are all more than capable of a good shot from range.

Not forgetting Kova... never mind...lol

I would say none of those are capable at say 30 yards except maybe Chalobah as have not seen that much of him yet.

                            Mendy

               Azpil      Trev      Rudi

CHO         Kante       Barkley      Alonso

               Mount             Pulisic

                          Lukaku

I'd go with this rest Reece, give Rom a start see if he can handle 60-70 mins. CHO has been decent on the left but surely its time to rotate and try Mounty or Pulisic their best position also. I think CHO can keep his width and play high whipping in crosses for Lukaku and Puli at the back post. Went for Barkles over Saul just because I don't trust Saul in a pivot he loses the ball way too often. Assuming Kante is fit otherwise Saul in there and let RLC rest for the weekend assuming he'll start then if Jorginho still isn't fit.

Also random curveball but dont forget Saul can also play wb with Ben out Saul May play more on the left now rather than in the midfield so he may rotate with Marcos for the next several weeks until we know the extent of Ben's injury

Respectfully disagree. Think all 4 are.

So er... which outfield players are actually available for this?

Definitely match fit and good to go: Alonso, Rüdiger, Saúl, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic, Ziyech

Fine but has played a lot recently: Silva, Chalobah, Hudson-Odoi

[Probably] lacking match fitness: Lukaku, Mount, Azpilicueta, Havertz, Sarr

Possibly injured: James, Jorginho, Werner

Injured for sure: Chilwell, Kovačić, Kanté

Politics/pre-match diarrhoea: Christensen

Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence...

It was yesterday @Munkworth. Hattrick by Werner and another clean sheet.

Great. I’ll predict that and get a clean sweep - when was the first goal?

Not sure why it looks like all standard central midfielders are out but I went for a 3:0 away win prediction and I'm not changing it!

I am not including set pieces just open play.

James has a cannon of a right foot, so does Alonso only his left instead. Barkley used to pop them off at Everton. They can do it in open lay we are just clearly instructed not to.

You forget about Dorris the tea lady, Fred the plummer and Trev Chalobahs hair stylist Tina.
