The only thing I can think of that would explain it is if Lampard and Tuchel see his potential as higher than the other players so this is a way to try and coax it out of him.

Otherwise it's actually getting quite ridiculous the different standards he's getting held too. If Pulisic performed the way Callum did in the time you refer to he'd have got untouchable status for the rest of the season (when fit).

Looks like Chelsea Ladies have now joined in with the Men's Xmas celebrations ...

After failing to put Juventus away in mid week, they have now lost 1-0 to Reading and had 34 shots of which only 5 on target. Would have gone top had they won today.

We of all supporters should know to look beyond the stats with players.

And he effectively did get an assist to James at Newcastle, it didn't go on record because it touched a Newcastle player on the way to Reece but just goes to further show how the assist stat should be redefined.

Either way, it's hardly the return we are looking for, or need, from our front three ! If he was getting it done he'd be in the team today.

If we lose that will be 5 home league games lost in a single calendar year for the first time since 1995. In short, this is an easy win.

We were top of the league last week now we are 5 behind. Festive Chelsea truly on a role, cannot believe it hit the women's team though that is a shocking result.

I would be less shocked if Leeds did us 0-5. How can they lose to Reading? Shesh.

Overnight the defense went from rarely even letting in one goal to letting in 3 per match.

Personally not a fan of making players play through the pain. Let them get it sorted as soon as possible and come back 100%. Is awfully short sighted by TT but I get it, he knows how Roman has made us successful when it comes to managers.
