As much as I love the FA Cup, I'd take winning the CWC over a win today. Just this once though, just so we can say we've won it all.  Obviously the FA Cup is far superior, but it would just be nice to have the full set.

Biggest problem we have is no TT to prep the players.

Without him it all falls on Dave and Silva to get the job done. Honestly I expect they start both games we play as we badly need them to lead us.

I am also very keen for us to win this. If opposition fans thought we were insufferable about being European champions, wait until they have to listen to us not shut up about being champions of the entire world for a whole year!

He has coaching staff (the ones Lampard didn’t half inch!) that I’m sure he’ll be in communication with regularly. Arno Michels has a 100% winning record too I believe

I can see us slipping up, not only is Tuchel no there which is not ideal but if we make the final, our opponents will have an extra days rest.

For the semi we have an extra days rest on our opponents but they will be in camp already and we will be travelling, as well as the fact that we just played ET.

They're going to have to be really sh*t for us to breeze it and this comp is like the actual world cup for these teams so they'll be up for it too.

Here's the squad, won't let me copy and paste and I'm too lazy to do it manually:

Reece and Kenedy are there, RLC left out. Everyone else there as expected.

No Mendy.

Al-Hilal of Saudi leading their game currently 3-1. Ighalo formerly of Watford and United one of their scorers.

Looks like we know who we are facing on Wednesday then. Hopefully we produce far better than we did on Saturday.

@coco can get the proper topic going then…

They also have Callum Robinson who scored a brace against us last season for west brom and marenga I think who played for Porto against us last season

Ah so they have 3 forwards likely to score on us then. Lovely lol.

I was thinking today about the things I care more about than the Club World Cup and listing them in order of priority.

I'd got to number 356 which was

356 - finding out how Tarzan was always so well groomed

And still the CWC hadn't appeared.

We better not pick injuries at this waste of time money tournament.

Where in the chart did Tottenham come in at?

You are mixing up your WBA players. Callum Robinson (who also scored against us for Sheff United) is still with the Baggies. Al-Hilal do have Matheus Pereira who was one of the better players for WBA last season and scored twice in the game at the Bridge.
