That’s not fair, we’ve been rather blessed at LB. Between Bridge & Gallas playing out of position but bossing it, Ash, Dave taking over because we had Ivan on the right. Even Fillipe Luiz was good even if he wasn’t happy here. 

Everybody likes to hit on Alonso, but Sanches does the same on the other side to Azpi. 

Just acknowledge the opponent also got some good players.

Every season we think he is out and and somehow he survives the cut.

Our front line really struggle to keep the ball which is one the big reason why we struggle to attack. Unlike palace where rudiger can have all the time in the world, lille press our backline once we move into their area.

We really miss the like of hazard/willian in this type of game.

Wow and you support Chelsea? Never understood why fans need to put the own players down in such a way. 

Renato Sanches is brilliant, he was a joy to watch 1st half. Thankfully he didn’t get an assist or anything.

We need to get another goal badly, before we put Lukaku on.

Multiple time silva dropped the line too deep. Clearly he is concerned against pace behind but it will make alonso life miserable

Del Horno, Zhirkov, Babayaro, Emerson, Alonso has been better than all of these. Add Wayne Bridge to that too. Bridge was decent before Cole arrived, but he never recovered from his injuries.

I have noticed the attitude people have towards a player is heavily dependent upon how they are playing at that moment.

At the beginning of the season Alonso was in great form and scoring and everyone loved him.

Now that he's out of form he's terrible and always has been.
