If Kane or lewa were playing for us today, they'd be PL Goals in game record holders, i think 6 or 7 clear chances, but small steps for Timo, Greaves scored Five for us 3 times in the senior division

It's funny early on Rudiger makes two mistakes yet everyone else seems on form and Mount provides a clever assist for Alonso.

Werner was better and should still have had more yet at least looked dangerous and scored a decent goal.

Mount was back with a short haircut and took his goal well.

The Saints have been on the end of some heavy scorelines so not sure how much we can take from this yet will at least give the team a boost.

RLC showing his versatility at RWB, not his best position though no real howlers. 

Mendy looked better today too.

We only won cause Southampton plays a high backline. Played into our hands by not changing anything of their gameplan, I wish other teams also play like that but Real Madrid isn't going to do that...

no highlights beyond our 6th, over half an hour of football! Then about 15 seconds of analysis.... almost like they couldn't be arsed with our game unless we lost.

They weren't pressing well either, just all round sh*t performance, most teams would've turned them over.

RLC is quite a reasonable emergency for RWB. Really a versatile player. His defending and effort to get set defensively have improved and that will help his career. 

One slightly negative comment after yesterday's very satisfying result: I felt Pulisic didn't make a huge impression to me, or was he perhaps terrific off camera?

No. Did very little.

Judt watched the full game, only managed to watch parts of it on Saturday as I was at my uni. That was textbook football, 6 goals and it could've been more if it wasn't for our sloppy finishing.
