No Problem. Lulled the dippers into false sense of security. They will still be mainly concentrating on PL and CL.

We will win the FA Cup!

IF our players decide to turn up.

Erm, what's different between the Carabao Cup final and now?

Chelsea performing worse. That's it.

You can literally post your post a week before the last Carabao Cup final and it's the same thing.

I am hoping for Tuchel’s plan to work out. The only possible way is to not make any mistakes and then win on penalties or during extra time. That way Liverpool players will also be a little bit extra tired both mentally and physically.

We are the title stoppers. We will win this. It won’t be the “joga bonito” but who cares.

The extra cherry on top would be Lukaku scoring from the penalty spot.

We made too many mistakes in the last number of games to make me think it's hard to cut it out. It's about mentality. You can't just cut it out just like that as well. It takes time.

All it takes is ONE mistake and within that mistake we get punished. Then it's an automatic game over. If we can't do it against Everton, what chances in heck we have against a free-flowing, press-focused Liverpool side.

We have yet to beat any of the "title challengers" this season. And even if we beat Pool, it will not stop them from winning a historic treble.

It will stop them for winning the FA Cup which is a huge blow and a big win for us, after all they are bigger favorites here in comparison to their chances elsewhere.

A big thing that has changed since our League cup defeat to them is 2 of the regularly selected back 3 of TT, Rudiger and either Dave or AC, are not fully focused on our club anymore imo.

Rudiger would never have kicked that ball out on Sunday before he decided to leave, nor put in such an abject display while still smiling. The anger and fire has left him.

AC has not been the player of last season for months, Dave is making constant mistakes almost every game of late. Now you put 2 (or 3 of them if Dave is wingback) at the peak of their powers and focus and they can shut down Salah, Mane, Diaz and Jota as they showed in 2 of the 3 games this season.

You put them as they are now and they will be ripped apart, not even Silva will be able to hold them off on his own.

Past 3 occasions the refs cost us the chance to win, now our biggest problem is ourselves.

They are also showing what happens when you make an individual mistake.

Unlucky for us our entire back line + midfield are making that a habit.

In the 2nd half Villareal tried to defend the result. And that is simply not possible against Liverpool. You must attack them. If you sit back then you will lose.

No, what happened is that Liverpool made a tactical change (bring on Diaz) and everything fell in to pieces for Villarreal.

Also Liverpool at the first half were cruising thinking the tie was done. That HT talk from Klopp woke them up.

Really hoping we can knock Liverpool off the perch on this one. Especially after that second half last night! tuned in at HT to see them get dumped out!!!!

Would be nice, however Mendy is in for Rulli mode right now, making only simple saves and doing nothing much else.

Spoke to a random Pool fan from church and said he is still hurt from that Gerrard slip. He loved Gerrard and we stopped him from lifting the PL trophy.

That game was one of my top favourite moments as a Chelsea fan. I remember these dipper fans in uni telling me we will get smashed at Anfield 6/7-0 with complete ease. Who the hell do they think they were? I was streaming the game live on my phone in the library as I was revising for my exams.

I was extremely nervous especially when we parked 10 buses. When that slip happened, and scored. I got out of my seat uncontrollably - fists in air. People around looked at me. Kind of embarrassed myself but it was like a coke bottle exploded in my veins. Couldn't help it.

After the game, I rubbed it SO hard on those fools.

Back to today, I told him that story. He said to me, "Well, thank you for making the quad a reality anyway. Thanks for the LC and the FA Cup".

No response from me because I don't want to look like a fool. But I seriously hope their quad dreams come to a crashing end.

They really are the biggest knobsh*t football fans in the world. Is why I detest that club.

10 Years ago today we beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final. Hopefully history repeats itself on the 14th. 🤞

But 10 years ago, we actually had a squad that was better than Liverpool's. And a much better mentality. We had a striker who scores for fun in Wembley. It's role-reversal now (minus from the striker part but they have Mane).

Just had a look at our 2011 squad

  • Best keeper - Cech
  • Best CB - Terry
  • Best LB - Ashley Cole
  • Arguably best midfielder in Essien
  • Arguably best attacker in Drogba and best support attacker in Anelka.
  • Arguably best midfielder in Frank
  • Ivanovich was in form a great right back /  CB.

Today we do not have any players best in their class...........

Obviously FFP and not spending money or at least not spending it wisely.

We've held our own against Liverpool throughout this season and we shouldn't be written off.

I am close to writing them off simply because of our mentality. Liverpool's mentality, heart & character > Chelsea's mentality, heart & character.

And that's not even comparing the squads.

We must stay focused 100%. We HAVE to take our chances and be more clinical. Silence Liverpool's front 3. And most importantly, which we have been seeing as of late and has been killing us - NO CRUCIAL MISTAKES.

Last time we faced them, we weren't doing the latter. Now we are, and Liverpool will kill us if we make any bad error.

If we do all of this, then yes we can stand a chance...providing no VAR/ref drama.

Wonder if Klopp will have anymore "work" done for the final?

I was wondering about that. Klopp is starting to look a lot like Michael Jackson.

Well may just maybe the football fates will smile on us again. Then we may see Jurgens side put in a Bad performance, that the ref and VAR don't chose to be Smooth Criminals, and we win it in a Thriller.

Nope. But I wouldn't be that upset if we lose. I've already accepted the worst possible outcome of dippers winning the quad.

I simply don't trust the players anymore.
