Bit humbling that, since his departure, Emerson made it to a European final (such as it is) before we did.

I'm sure one of the stattos will have flagged this already but I assume he is the first player to appear in the matchday squads for Champions League, Europa League and UEFA Conference League finalists? His team won the first two, let's see how West Ham get on tonight.

That Gonzalez guy is proving to be a worthy opponent to Emerson judging just from the first 45minutes.

Briefly forgot WHU had Zouma and Emerson.

Jovic also playing for Fiorentina.

The text on Youtube has made a few gaffe's

West Ham have become 'West Africa or Western'.

Serie A has become 'Syria'

Fiorentina has become 'for Tina'

This could be David Moyes' first competitive trophy since the Second Division title for Preston twenty-three years ago.

1-1 😁

West Ham fans singing We know what we are, Champions of Europe We know what we are.

Not quite lads.

I get they’re excited but perleassssse. Taking the piss.

On a side note, what an ‘un-west ham’ kit that is to win a trophy in, looks like a Roma away shirt or something. Hilarious that thing is now etched in their history.

Nice bunch of people  those Westham fans, only throwing plastic bottles 🙄

With all due respect, they just won a cup recently invented by UEFA for third tier teams, and a bit of TV money on a boring Thursday night.

I still can't take the Conference League seriously. I think it devalues the meaning of winning trophies. It's rewarding sh*t teams.

All the ‘neutrals’ fawning over these scumbags is quite nauseating.

Hope they get the book thrown at them for that missile incident.

This is marginally better than their inter Toto cup win. One plus side of us being extra sh*t this year….we don’t have to suffer this competition next season.

I disagree. It gives teams who will never reach the level of the CL nevertheless an opportunity to play in Europe and win some silverware. Plus it makes the national league a bit more interesting when there's more to fight for in terms of qualification spots. We don't say we don't take the youth team seriously because their competitions devalue the CL, do we.

Of course the Pikeys are elated, they've finally won something - which we haven't managed this season BTW. Let them be happy and sing they're champions of Europe. It won't happen again for at least 20 years after all.

PS I won't be this mellow and tolerant if City win the CL, I promise.
