Cesare Casadei

Completely agree. And just to be clear, patience, support, and understanding . Little not equal blind critique. The conversation you've quoted relates to performances of Santos vs Carney+Casadei. They've all made mistakes, Humphreys made some in the last match including one for the goal. It's okay to mention these, to understand that's a part of their process, and won't necessarily define their career trajectories. Anyone drawing a conclusion after one game is a moron.

It's a very valid points. People purr about the quality of Brighton for example. And rightly so, some of the football they play is exciting, progressive and very entertaining.  Yet when they do concede, this will often be due to young players making basic errors simply due to a lack of experience. Little if anything is mentioned because it is an acceptable price of development.  At a club of our standing and media interest, similar errors would be headline news and would over shadow all else.

If we can see progressive football, a defined structure and style, fitness and effort, then we have to have patience so these youngsters can reach their potential.

Leicester keep pushing for a loan but the club ideally want Casadei to play in the Premier League.

To be honest if one were to assess it, think Casadei will be better off playing regularly for a progressive manager in a team that will likely dominate the Championship vs playing for a bottom half club in the Premier League getting thwarted every other week.

Worked wonders for Maatsen

Had hoped he'd go to a prem side this season purely because I would then find it easier to keep abreast of how he's getting on. But I agree with what others have said, he should get plenty of minutes in a competitive league with Leicester, who I would assume will be hoping to bounce straight back up to the prem.

Here's hoping he kicks on this season and is ready to feature for the first team next season (a la Reece at Wigan).

So Ndidi he replaces? He certainly isn't replacing DBH

Ndidi is almost certainly gone. Enzo Maresca doesn't use a defensive midfielder. I expect him to play alongside Dewsbury-hall as an attacking mid.

Started last night in the EFL Cup. Scored.

Maresca played Ndidi as an 8 which is unusual but that is where I expect Casadei to play so who knows !!

Apparently some players who wanted to leave have now changed their mind so maybe Ndidi is staying !!

Good lord! They must be desperate then.

They still love Muzzy Izzet, they'll appreciate a Gus Poyet clone. Leicester fans are very simple, they appreciate directness. They should have appointed Sean Dyche years ago.

I infrequently see Muzzy in my local with a very pretty young blonde woman I understand is neither his wife nor daughter. Also he once unleashed a disgraceful fart while I was stood next to him at the bar; he retreated up the stairs to the toilet and I didn't see him again for the rest of the night.

Brushes with greatness, brought to you by The Shed End :JC_doubleup:

I hope he gets them promoted. I have nothing but respect for leicester after their impossible premier league win all those years ago. So fingers crossed cassadai can help them back up.
