Good game - you can only play the opposition you get.... Difficult to say anything about him untill we see him against real opponents.

Wonder if we will keep Casadei and Santos in the first team squad.

Questions the recruitment team are assessing are if the likes of Viega, Cherki, and Lavia/Onana are even better than Casadei, Gabriel, and Santos. 

I like this approach as signing players isn't the answer to every problem, particularly when we have food at home. 

Casadei [20], Maatsen [21], Colwill [20], Chukwuemeka [19], Santos [19] and Angelo [18] should all be being considered for the first team/squad. They have all 'got it' imho.  Whatever it is that it is. They have it in abundance.

We will have a very young team/squad. Enzo [22], Mudryk [22], Madueke [21], Caicedo [21], Jackson [22].

 

It will be like our version of the 'Busby Babes', but without the plane crash.

I love how he wants to make things happen.  Hope he stays with the team/squad and is not loaned out - my preference would be he is second choice in the central attacker/midfielder position.  

He has been impressive. I would be disappointed if he is not kept in the first team squad.

The way he drives the ball forward is great to see. He’s quality, I hope that he stays this coming season with the first team.

He and Carney have both easily done enough to stay. I rate them both well ahead of santos based on the brighton  game. Santos is new in England and  may just need a bit of time to ah find his feet.

Strange. They were both comfortably worse than Santos in the game and made numerous tactical and technical errors. I think at least one of them will leave on loan. I don't think there will be room for both AND Gallagher.

I bow to your clearly far greater knowledge than mine. Could you point out some of these numerous "tactical and technical" errors. Let's start with Carney. I'm keen to improve my understanding as I'm only an amateur spectator for the last say 55 years.
