Could be a very good option to come from the bench. cant we get this guy he's the same age as Aubameyang let him stay in a shed on Thiago Silva's property so he can learn from him how to get into shape Edited August 4, 20223 yr by azpi28
August 4, 20223 yr i will do some scouting while watching all for nothing on amazon i can't stop laughing watching that
August 4, 20223 yr I think he'd be a decent signing. If Werner leaves we need one more CF and Auba would be cheap (assumably) and provide a decent stop gap option. @Kantesmini he doesn't bring the circus that Ronaldo joining would bring and je works harder off the ball.
August 4, 20223 yr If we need a goal late on would you rather bring on a proven goal scorer like Aubameyang or hope the chuckle brothers Pulisic and Ziyech manage one of their 4 goals a season? In his 6 months at Barca Auba scored more than Ziyech has in 2 years here and almost half as many goals as Pulisic has managed in his entire 7 year club career. Perfect signing? No he's 33. But he's far better than what we have and a cheap short term deal improves us. Edited August 4, 20223 yr by HazardousChoice
August 4, 20223 yr I think depends on the price. No doubt things are very complex between Barca and Chelsea with the amount of deals we’re trying to get done.

I've got no issues with Auba per se, despite his dark Arsenal past, but I've always felt he was coasting, never fully using his talents or willing to work his socks off. Pass for me, but I doubt the rumour anyway. Nah you have heard of him before. I start the ones nobody has ever heard of 😉
August 4, 20223 yr update on my scouting mission: can’t really blame Aubameyang for losing a bit of faith in arteta from what I’ve seen so far for context: this was before the North-London derby, just before he let the club photographer do the team talk Edited August 4, 20223 yr by azpi28

It seems that Xavi want more additions to the squad (Alonso, Azpi and Bernardo Silva) and due to the current economic climate - not to mention the lack of outgoing transfers - Barcelona are now starting to offer several players pretty much for nothing just to free up liquidity. Assuming that the rumours about them offering Aubameyang, Depay and De Jong indeed seems likely, especially given that these are players that will either deliver fundsto get Bernardo Silva, or free up some cash to get Alonso and Azpi in and registered for free - as it'll all ascend into a higher unity. If I had to pick two of the three it would be Depay and and De Jong. If we then were able to somehow stop the transfer of Cucurella and instead get Gvardiol, Fofana and Mæhle, I'd feel that we've somehow managed to turn a quite weird transfer window into one of the most exciting ones in a very long time.

I don't think auba is a long term solution and it may not work out even if we do get him but I personally am really glad Chelsea crossed Jesus off the list. How many goals has he scored now where he was guaranteed a consistent game? Let's get back at the end of the season to re+discuss how we missed the great trick in town

He had 1 breakout season scoring 20+ goals then the goal tally kept getting lower and lower. Last season he had 22 appearances scoring 8 goals and 1 assist in a league that Lukaku dominates.. The guy is a busted flush. Sad but he definitely can't hack it in the PL

Arsenal last season were 4th bottom on big chances created, so yes lets see how he looks in May. Funnily enough the guy this thread is dedicated to (likewise his strike partner at Arsenal) has been statistically superb for every manager he's played under in the last 7/8 years bar the one Jesus will now be plying his trade under, coincidence?

Lets also not forget that Arsenal has one of the worst medical team in football.

Among those rejected by Arsenal: Yaya Toure, Ibrahimovic, Messi, Ronaldo, Kante, Van Persie, Fabregas, Ashley Cole, Serge Gnabry, Olivier Giroud are a very good crop of players. It's the crocked Arse players that you want to avoid What's false? Is his attitude not piss poor ? Ashley Cole insisted on a move after being shafted on wages , Giroud they didn't want anymore and we bought him etc . They gave Auba away for free..✌️

Auba, Martinez, Saliba, Guendouzi of the top of my head, Leno and Pepe will be next, possibility Lacazette aswell. Edited August 4, 20223 yr by Argo

Hell ronaldo may even be a banana skin too, But we all know ronnie will smash in goals, I guess if its a game of risk auba is on the face of it the lesser risk due to a low fee but I cant see barca making it easy! Like i said we just need a forward, If auba comes in and gets near 20 happy days, Although rumours now saying he wont be coming here and its just barca trying to flog us toys
