August 29, 20223 yr Over the next day or two qe should reach the deadline set by Lamps for the Gordon deal to fail, and our own one for Auba is said to be tonight with no movement there whatsoever. So I expect the Zaha links to build up until the window closes. If the Fofana deal is complete, I think that is our signings done bar youth players.
August 29, 20223 yr this is a brilliant idea. I think after he played in China he will perfectly fit into our toothless attack.
August 29, 20223 yr Arsenal and Chelsea battling for the signature of Zaha. Apparently. Which makes a change because when it comes to bidding for Auba we are battling with ourselves. Chelsea negotiating and hoping to pay a lot of money to Barca. Alonso. Limbo. Why don't we move for Victor Osimhen?

Why don't we move for Victor Osimhen? I have been saying that all summer but I suspect he is too expensive for us. Plus the fact that we are so fking slow that ant transfers started now would just about make the January window

So, if he is available, what are we waiting for? His hero growing up was Drogba.

August 29, 20223 yr If we can’t get Auba, Zaha would be an ok replacement. Though I would prefer a proper striker rather than another “creator”. With one year left on his deal, reckon £30m would do it?

With a year left on their deals am sure the club can aquire both Zaha and Tieldmans from their respective clubs who won't want to lose them for free. I would expect between 25-30mill each would do it. Given Gordon is stating at Everton, Auba at Barca and us having no midfield it would be smart business for the short term.
August 29, 20223 yr Palace won't sell him on the cheap, key player for them, much more value keeping your best players for the season and staying in the league than risk a relagation and losing more money from not being in the Premier league.
August 29, 20223 yr Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha may represent an option that can also play out wide, although Tuchel has been wondering about his suitability to the role. Arsenal are also monitoring Zaha’s situation as they seek one more signing in attack. (Independent) #CFC #AFC #CPFC
August 30, 20223 yr Chelsea are working on trying to bring either Wilfred Zaha or Neymar to Stamford Bridge before the deadline as they look to add goals to their attack. - @TheSecretScout_ Not a great source I don’t think…but still, Neymar??

Neymar? As if the Ronaldo rumour made me clench my teeth, bottom, everything really, enough Suddenly, Aubameyang doesn't seem so bad.
August 30, 20223 yr The funny thing is that PSG would probably be willing to let Neymar go on loan I reckon. Surely with his wages, it’s unlikely to happen anyway.
August 30, 20223 yr Hasen't Neymar started the season incredibly well there? Why would they let him go. Unless Bernando Silva is going to PSG.

A loan would be great imho - he‘s on ultra wages but contrary to CR7 he would help us tremendously. He has the whole package (build up / scoring / assisting / can press well if motivated) and should be quite motivated as well. If he‘d get a 5y deal I‘d be worried but for a year? Should be a no-brainer if possible imho.

Isn't he in the last year of his contract? a fee of £25-£30m would probably be enough, otherwise they risk losing him for nothing next year. My gut feeling is we will sign Zaha, and Gallagher will go the other way on loan. Not what I want to happen but that is what I feel will happen.

Flippant i know, apologies.
