Looks like a back 3 then. Qe have read how Sterling talked TT into a back 4 as to better suit his game. Not for today then.

Not sure who we are playing up front though, a front two of Sterling and Pulisic with Gallagher taking the mount role of joining the attack but also dropping deeper when we lose the ball?

West Ham tend to be happy to give up possession and counter attack, maybe this is designed to stop them. Looks to me we will struggle to break through them though.

Interesting line up. The GK, CB and WBs pick themselves now (although I’m still a Trev fan). 
 

TT looking for the right balance with the midfield and attacking unit. Not sure this  group is that as we lack a focal point, but let’s go!!!!!

With Sterling having little support I guess we are relying on James for assists to him or goals himself today.

Amazing isn't it, both came on as subs the last man, Broja ran and fought, Pulisic meandered around....pulisic starts the next game.

Broja is probably not fit to play the entire 90. He will come on as a sub.

Absurd to reward a player that has been our worst player every time he's came on this season with a start while not giving one to Broja who's looked bright when he came on.

I am sure Pulisic put in the work during training. Tuchel doesn't give charity appearances.  

With his reaction after the Southampton disasterclass I  feel pulisic is angry and an angry Pulisc will be a problem for Westham....

I like the fact he has changed it no Jorgy, no Havertz, no Mount and Gallager hopefully as an attacking midfielder.

Changed formation too and this should get the best our of Gallagher.

Pulisic... willing to give him a chance again at least for 45mins.

West ham will be no pushover. Rice and Soucek are a presence, Bowen and Antonio always a threat, and Paqueta unknown and will want to make an impact.

I just don't see where we score goals with this side, outside of a James special or Sterling lucky deflection as we are useless at set pieces and RLC, Kova and Cucurella are useless at shooting.

I think it's still a 3-4-2-1 formation, just Gallagher up front instead of Mount.

I don't doubt Pulisics work ethic. I'm sure he tried very hard in training.

I doubt his talent.  In terms of natural ability and physical tools the lad is as ungifted a footballer that we've had in decades and we've seen it over a long period of time.

Broja is unpolished but needs to be unleashed, just signed a new contract so on a high with a point to prove and actually performed in the last game.

With both Mount and Havertz out and Auba not ready there was no better opportunity to start Broja.

If he isn't starting this game when will he start?
