I’ve always rated Felix but I get the absolute fear when he gets the ball in midfield with his back to goal.

If he can stop losing possession in those instances then he can be a very effective player for us.

Former RL coach Jack Gibson said, 'I want my players to do most of what I say but not all of what I say'. Surely the front players have a bit of licence to swap places.

His performances this season warrants more starts than we have seen so far, especially when the likes of Neto, Sancho, Madueke, Mudryk (suspended) George (not currently good enough) aren't doing anywhere near enough themselves.

Palmer was head and shoulders better than him, embarrassing to say otherwise. Nkunku isn't a 9. 

Sancho is out second best attacker and dwarfs Felix creatively.

What I want to see more of is Palmer on the right and Felix in the middle. It doesn't have to be every week, or even more often than not, but Palmer was at his best on the right for us and has struggled to consistently perform for 90+ minutes in the middle of late. Maresca hasn't played Palmer on the right and Felix in the middle once. I feel like it could have made the difference at least once in the last 4 games.

Would not use Neto against a team sitting back, he is more useless than Sancho against such sides imo.

I would still argue that we have not seen enough of Mr.Felix to pass judgement at this point. I would also argue that the problem is that Enzo Maresca has not figured out how to rotate our wingers and attacking mids properly or how to use them wisely as subs. Mr. Felix needs more playing time - he needs to show more strength on the ball, but this he will realise when given more actual game time.
 

5 players. Madueke, Palmer, Sancho, Felix and Neto should all be getting minutes every game imho. 3 starting spots and 2 subs.  AND if we are losing then having 4 of this 5 lads on the pitch - 4-1-4-1 style is not a ridiculous proposition.  imho

On the right, I would agree, but I think he is better on the left. I prefer crosses into the box or our wingers cutting in when we are playing against defensive teams, and Neto has a decent cross on him.

Jackson's skillset isn't really finishing those crosses. I think Felix is a better option running into the box on a cross than Jackson, Neto, Sancho, or Madueke. Without a new striker can't play two crossers.

I would not sell him before he gets a run of games in the PL in the no. 10 position with Palmer on the right wing. They both make things click and this way there is danger coming from more areas on the pitch, not only from Palmer in the pocket as it currently happens. I truly believed this is Madueke's season to shine, but I am dissappointed of his attitude.

I think Felix was always going to be a quick flip and we only bought him as a favour to Madrid so they'd take Gallagher for PSR. 

Having said that, if Nkunku is on the way out it seems silly to let Felix go this January and leave us short. 

I was getting slightly frustrated by all the people calling for Felix to play LW or Palmer RW when it's obvious by now that Maresca likes his wide attackers to be winger (the widest players on the pitch) not "inside forwards" (who tuck in to be overlapped by wing-back who are instead the widest players).

Then I remembered years ago when I went into Parliament to watch this senate estimates on the broadband network rollout and met an unamed (but obvious if you bother to look it up) Australian government senator who when I told him I was a Chelsea fan, pulled out his phone and spent the next 30 minutes showing me pictures of him at Chelsea games all decked out in the blue kit. 

Fine and all but he suggested we should sell Eden Hazard to PSG in a swap plus (20 million pounds or so) cash for Edison Cavani.

Showing me that you can literally be one of the famous politicians (at the time) in the country and still have sh*t opinions about football! 🤣

The Saudis would in the summer. I would be telling Mendes already to put out feelers with the Arabs about both Felix and Neto, and flog the pair to Saudi for £120m once the summer windows. We would easily make our money back, and Mendes will happily make the move happen. Our transfer strategy makes no sense though; trying to sell a lot of our summer signings 6mths after smacks of a club with no real plan.

Good strategy so long as the players are willing to end their careers early. 

Felix's ego is too big to go Saudi and Neto will want to prove himself at a top club imo.

Why is Felix being singled out when the likes of Sancho can't do anything against any side that can defend? Why can't Palmer move to the right now and again and Felix come on into the middle behind the striker when we need a tactical shift? The last two games were perfect opportunities to try something to unlock Everton and wrestle some control back from Fulham, but Maresca didn't even try. I`m not so sure with Felix, he had very few opportunities in the summer it seems, I doubt theres many clubs out their willing to give him a chance for the price he is and the past few seasons of nothingness. I could see him ending up in Saudi.

Different for Neto though.

i think Pulisic has been playing on the right at Milan with Leao on the left. 

Assume Felix would play in the middle of them? Either way, don't see how they can afford him.
