Sporting directors really wasted everyone's time with this purchase though, 7 year contract, and out on loan in 6 months.

 

Loan fee is just over his PSR value for half a year. His hit is something like 9.21mill a year.

This valid comment could be applied to any number of purchases by our fabulous sporting directors i hope they are held to account for such deals by the shareholders.

No matter what people's opinion on him is, loaning him out on the last day and not having a replacement is bonkers. Yes, we have been lucky so far with no injuries to the attackers, however what if Palmer picks up an injury? Also in UECL, the latter stages you expect the more of the main players to feature more and Felix was ideal for those games. Mudryk is banned for god knows how long and now loaning out Felix. I don't get the logic of this at all... Like I say towards end of season we will be possible in latter stages of FA Cup, UECL and competing for champions league places. This is very short-sighted but tbh I am not surprised when I see the board see a chance of making money.

I wonder if the loaning out of Mr.Felix will have any adverse effect on Pedro Neto?  I am sure he'll be professional about it and all of that, but he's lost two Portuguese mates now.

Letting felix go is actually bonkers beyond belief, unless we have a top replacement ready to go. We have already likely lost mudryk for the season. Unless garnacho or tel are on their way here (which seems unlikely at this late stage), then our directors are clowns.

Top man management from Maresca - announcing this to the dressing room at half-time clearly lifted the team's spirits.

Turned out we didn't need him after all, you dont need an expensive player just to play Thursday night football at unknown stadiums in exotic countries. Marsca probably never wanted Felix, so at least he got his wish 6 months later.

Difficult to get goals and assists in the premier league when the manager doesn't play him in the games for more than 10 minutes at a time 

Has felix gone or not? If he goes then things get alot worse, one less tricky option to change a game, and more importantly one less to cover injuries to the likes of neto sancho and palmer. I will be furious if hes gone too.
