Totally agree. If there was good news on sample B then it would have been broadcast by the club.

Very possible both Felix and Nkunku leave before the window shuts. 

Wonder if there is any chance of getting Duran, if Felix and Disasi end up at Villa.

I think we still need another creative option though if lose both Nkunku and Felix. 

Wonder if there is any chance if getting Cherki, who we were linked with quite heavily 18 months ago. Felix and Nkunku for Duran and Cherki might balance the attacking options a bit better.

Something needs to happen before the window shuts, as Maresca doesn't look like he is changing anything any time soon.

If so Disasi is heading there on a loan, so Villa either need to sign Felix permanently or he ain't going there.

Felix was only ever purchased as a PSR makeweight.

Gallagher was pure profit but to get the deal through Athletico needed to sell. The fee paid for Joao was always one that with his ‘name value’ we’d always be able to recoup. Essentially we got all the Gallagher profit and won’t be out on the Felix transfer, amazed Villa want him after his performances but there you go… thought they’d of learned their lesson with Coutinho.

Is just rumours at the mo, nothing has happened. And I doubt it will, unless he goes on loan to someone else.

Villa wanted him in the summer though, it was Mendes that pushed him on/to Chelsea. Villa made more sense for him in the summer as they had sold Diaby and Douglas Luiz, and would have had a team built around him. The Chelsea move never made any sense to me.

Here's how it makes sense.

Mendes gets a agent fee for Neto to Chelsea.

Mendes gets a agent fee for Felix to Chelsea.

Mendes gets an agent fee for Felix to whoever next.

 

If Felix moves to Villa and is happy and settled there, Mendes loses out on a fee.

It was a pointless signing to begin with and now Enzo doesn't seem to rate him either so no point in keeping him.

If Enzo isn’t going to use him then he’s probably better off going to Villa.

I wish we’d use him more often though, I thought he looked bright recently. Seems like he never stood a chance since minute one.

If I could order the players I'd get rid of in January (either replaced or otherwise) I wouldn't even have Felix in my top five. 

There are a number of players who have had far more opportunity and not impressed and players when given an albeit brief  opportunity have looked thoroughly disinterested 

A strange model of another new to us, and experienced player, is moved on. Also concerned we’ll have no depth.

If he had performed well then you wouldn’t be. Has had a couple decent games but in my opinion, he’s consistently one of our worst players on the pitch.

If Aston Villa want to press ahead with signing him they look to look to able to as they have agreed a deal worth more than 60mill for Jhon Duran to go to AL Nassr.

They also sent Bundia out on loan.

Could Duran stay and Watkins go? Villa turn down offical offer from Arsenal of 60mill. Will they come back with a bigger bid.

Sounds right. Mendes pushed for him so we collapsed the Samu deal.

Perhaps he promised to get Felix off our books quickly as part of that first deal.
