December 23, 20223 yr Reece James back, the rest of those injured prior to the World Cup are joined by Broja in being out and Kova and Ziyech won't be involved after making it to the 3rd place match. So if Potter wants a back 3 we will likely see: Mendy James Silva Koulibaly Sterling Jorginho Hall/Zakaria Cucurella Mount Aubameyang Havertz If he goes back 4: Mendy James Silva Koulibaly Cucurella Jorginho Zakaria/Hall Mount Havertz Sterling Aubameyang
December 23, 20223 yr Would like to see Munky’s favourite player Zakaria to start! Could have a player of the season there!

So if we go with back 3 then it would make more sense to have him there and Reece as RWB?

December 23, 20223 yr Tough game - struggle to see what we’ll do in midfield and almost confirms Potter will go with back 3. If Chuk and Casadei can’t get near the side in the absence of Kante, RLC, Kova then questions should be asked. I’d drop Mount deeper also, okay some attackers Edit - shame on me, forgot about Gallagher! He has to play Edited December 23, 20223 yr by PhilH930
December 24, 20223 yr I'm starting to look forward to this. It's about time the season kicks on again.

December 24, 20223 yr I’m looking forward to this. Potter’s had some time to settle in even with only half the squad, but it’s time for him personally to work things out for himself. it’s not the best team we’ve had but it’s still competitive especially against the likes of burley. I would like to get fofana back though. I think the rest will have done Jorginho some good as well.
December 24, 20223 yr As long as @axman2526 isn’t looking forward to it and is expecting a heavy loss the cosmos shouldn’t punish us.

I will be working but I am indeed looking forward to watching the game later on..... .....looking forward to us boring the ar*e off me, watching us f'k around with the ball, barley shoot and when we do we miss the target or hit pea rollers at the keeper, while Bournemouth take their couple of chances and beat us at the Bridge...yet again... December 25, 20223 yr Bournemouth only had 2 players at the WC so their squad has basically had 6 weeks off. They will be well up for it. We had the second most amount of players at the WC, City were first.
December 25, 20223 yr A very Merry Christmas to all you lot on here!😀 Edited December 25, 20223 yr by erskblue

It's not my personal taste, to put it politely, but I feel obliged to put it up at least once. To help everybody towards the same decision, here it is: The match doesn't seem too bad now, does it... Need more? This lot could probably provide a more dynamic outing than anything Potter is going to trot out there. Of course Sterling come out and look like Mbappe or Messi but who the toss am I fooling.
December 26, 20223 yr First time my Season ticket hasn't sold on Ticket Exchange , anyone would think we're not worth watching ! I'll see if trains are running ok tomorrow , looking forward to watching us again, but dreading it too. typical Chelsea !

December 26, 20223 yr Ok my preferred line up picking time. Assuming these are all fit I would like to see: Mendy James Chalobah Silva Hall Zakaria Casadei Hutchinson Gallagher Carney Havertz
