Osimhen clearly the obvious choice but the obvious choice isn't always the right choice. We've been in this situation before exactly 2 years ago.

We are creating chances at a canter now. Let's continue to build on that and not try to ruin it.

It's driving me insane that people after seeing the end result last time are again falling into this trap of "sign a number 9 to finish what we create".

Potter will win (back) a lot of points with me if he holds his nerve the way Tuchel didn't on this subject.

The fact that Saka vs Mount debates used to  be a thing looks crazy now, he's even better than Foden. Been Englands standout attacker since Euro 2021 as well.

Is developing Fofana and Broja not an option?

Fofana looks very decent, I think Broja needs  another loan. I thought last year he should extend his loan at Southampton

Sure why not, both have promise, both cannot put in less work that either Lukaku or Havertz.

Rather use them both. Use the funds to revamp the midfield.

It's the same old story with us regarding big money strikers.

Other - Marcos Alonso.

Bring him back and finally play him in his natural position. Just scored a header against United.

(From the options I'd go Toney for a decent deal as he seems to fit the timeline and think would be really eager to fight for an England national place, but it's unlikely we get him for anything less than 50m)

I think given our new wide players Broja would do a decent job although likely Nkunku is the plan as a nine or false 9.

Think it depends a lot on what happens with Lukaku.  I wouldn't be surprised if the loan was to appease him after the fallout with Tuchel and Potter could be taksed with bringing him into the fold again.  I'd personally hate that after his interview but wouldn't be surprised.

Mitrovic would be a good option IMO but not sure if he would be worth what we would have to pay.

Voted Osimhen, but I think that list shows how slim the market is for strikers at the moment. De Laurentiis will likely force a world record transfer fee to let Osimhen go and I dont think he’s worth that. Hopefully we get this false nine thing to work with the players we have + Nkunku or our assembled transfer gurus can unearth the next big talent and get him in early.
