It looks to me that Leeds could genuinely be the tipping point.

Just how many f**king times are we going to say this? Not directed at you mate but in general.

Oh I think the Dortmund tie will be it.

Oh I think Saints at home will be the tipping point. It's an easy win.

Oh well lose to Spurs and that's it.

Oh well now we have to beat Leeds and I think that will be it.

The facts are right in f**king front of us! We shouldn't prolong what we already know Potter isn't good enough.

No, you're right. I said 8 - 10th at the beginning of November and got caned for it. Even when we were picking up results these were being squeezed out and there was no real pattern. I'd bite you're hand off for 10th now.

This guy got Schooled away this old club and has done absolutely fck all since. It's farcical.

And to be absolutely clear, when I say tipping point, I am not talking about sacking Potter. I am saying lose to Leeds and we are in a scrap. Regardless of how many other sh*t teams there are, I can still only see 3 wins maximum

I wouldn't even count on us winning those 3 games, not after what happened at home to Southampton. Forest also could have beaten us on another day just after the world cup.

From analyzing how we've played the only way we will score a goal at this rate is via route one crosses to Havertz.

Hence why we've only scored 1 goal in 6.

God people need to get a grip and stop being so dramatic talking about relegation scraps, it's embarrassing.

Okay, explain why we should be thinking any different? no goals, no wins, where does either of these two things come from in the next 14 games? A month ago, I had people telling me things would improve because of the level of opposition we were playing against, but it's only getting worse. So what, are we going to be hearing the same excuses in March and then again in April and May?

Because our players are obviously better than most of the league, even if Potter tactically is awful we'll pick up the odd win with the talent we have alone. Not to mention it would involve Everton, bmouth, Leeds and  Southampton etc all putting together a good run of games to catch up to us. There is virtually no chance we get relegated and I don't believe you truly think there's a chance we will.

I wanted to give him time but he’s clearly out of his depth here and this too big a job for him.

Brighton is his level not Chelsea!!!

I can see him being the next Southampton manager or Bournemouth and I do think he can do quite well there.

I think a point that we often miss is the model we are adopting is not suited to Potter anyway. He was picked as a manager who can get the best out of canny off the radar signings, not managing world cup winning personalities when you don't actually have a game plan

I would have agreed with you hours ago but this has become a genuine concern now. Potter lost to 2 interim managers. We are in the worst run ever, the players are a mix of new to the league and haven't in their entire lives fought off relegation.

Where is the win going to come from? Who will score goals? Next week, Potter will play a new starting XI with a makeshift tactic thrown in at half time.

I don't think we will get relegated.

But the fact that many fans are worried about it speaks f**king volumes of how bad it is right now doesn't it? It won't be impossible to get relegated based on our current form and if the bottom 3 have a resurgence which could happen with managerial changes.

Potter made relegation a discussion, that's the part to be concerned about here. We heard a bit of it when Jose had us in dire form but not like this.

I think we should be worrying about what we are doing not what others are doing. If we get less than 40 points we are likely to go down.

This is starting to look like the Porterfield slide again. I'm sure it's not of course. Of course the question is why is this even part of the conversation

In reality, 21 points in 18 games makes his PL record look more generous than what it is.

Take out the first 3 games which were all wins and it’s 12 points in 15 games (2 wins, 6 draws, 7 losses).

Maybe Potter has faults.

But lets see the whole picture. Which normal person will give 7 years contract without any clue if these players will fit? W. Fofana was injured when was bought. Nkuku will be available after next season. Will he be good? Enzo till now doesn't show that 120 m. are worth it. Koulibaly 60 m. with 300 000 per week, Sterling 65 m with 350 000 per week. Cucurella ??

Yeah I don't think we're in danger of relegation, even if you look at Potter's form alone, 21 points in 18 games averages out to a 43 point season. With that being said, that's nowhere near good enough and he still needs to go

Some of the early good performances could be put down to Tuchel's tactics still being in place

But that average only comes into play if the players perform robotically, consistently.

In the rut we're in, we have lost against the worst team in the league, have never won against any team in the Top 6 and now am in danger of losing every game due to inconsistent tactics and a chop and change style of management that has never been seen anywhere in the history of football probably

When has a starting XI change more than 10 times a season other than this Chelsea team right now?

Potter has to go it was to big a jump from Brighton to the mighty blue, which he is not handling well, I would like to see Thomas Tuchel back he understood tactics and how to change during the game and manage big ego players and knew how to win . unlike potter, also I think he is losing the dressing room

Having played 17 players last week and lost,  two of his go to players today were players that he was actively looking to move on in the last windows. Possibly 3 with RLC. If you're going to fail, do it on your principles surely. Pick your squad, stick with them and live or die by your decisions.

I said this a while back. Potter's team seem to coach out the ability of the players. I got caned for it then and probably will again but our new signings already seem to be losing confidence
