Great pens all round.  Palmer and Trent on particulsr  first class on the two pressure ones.  First and last are massive

You could have asked for better penalties, tbh. Gareth's going to be playing for a nil nil and penalties for the remainder of the tournament after that.

Nicely taken pens. Palmer set a wonderful, assertive tone with that first kick.

I'd say Palmer is surely a starter in semi final but I'd wager @just's  Spanish villa he is on the bench

Nice to see Palmer get the ball rolling on the penalties.

The match was pretty even though for me Switzerland were more threatening later on.

Southgate deserves credit now we reach a semi, though kind of feel we have a defender as a manager and it shows.

Didn't like the ref, got too many things wrong for me though nothing major.

No way is Southgate starting Palmer ahead of Foden Loz. Never in a million years. Shaw will probably start over Trippier and that's it.
