We ended up on 42 points in the season 87/88 when we were relegated. Don't think that we have had lower points since then but could be wrong.

Put 10 men behind the ball and dink it up for Mudryk to chase. Go for clean sheet without any pride of being Chelsea and needing to somehow show style. We've done it before. Be as pragmatic as you can.

So I’ve not experienced a season this bad since the year I was born. It’s something.

Looks like a good line-up to me. 

I wasn't going to watch but with Mudryk and Madueke starting I'm interested in seeing how they do. I'd have preferred Felix to be playing instead of Havertz or Gallagher though. Good to see Badiashile starting too

Not a bad starting line up all things considered. 14 goals between them season-to-date LOL. 

I'd prefer to see Felix or Chukwuemeka in that central attacking midfielder role that is presumably where Gallagher is going to play today ... 

No DD Fofana not even on the bench... back to no strikers in the squad.

I feel bad for Silva, in a team with such a lacking of professional pride.

Optimistic we can get a point with that line up. Great to see Badiashile back!

Decent lineup - good to see Madueke allowed to build on his performance against Arsenal. Good also to see Badiashile back, and to see Kovačić on the bench. Hope Lewis Hall gets onto the pitch at some point.

One concern - that XI suggests a high number of turnovers, it's unlikely we'll be able to sustain the athleticism we would need for 90 minutes.
