Jorgen Strand Larsen: Wolves reject £50m bid from Newcast...

Newcastle United have a £50m bid for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen rejected by Wolves as they look to sign a striker before the transfer deadline.

Jim, Newcastle will sign you before they would pay money for Jackson.

It's telling that none of the mega-minted Saudi clubs have had even the slightest interest in him.

Bayern on loan doing the rounds as agreed this morning. If Sesko gets a 70M move after playing over there, this could be a good move for a sale next season.

I think an initial loan and some sort of mandatory buy clause would be okay. I can't see anyone at the moment buying him for 60-80m. Newcastle is probably the only hope. I prefer he moves to another League as we'll.

Doubt there will be any obligation to buy with any of the German or Italian clubs. The scam fails if they end up paying top dollar. If they can keep loaning year on year for these different players paying 5m - 10m per year with no balloon payment at the end, happy days. I do the same with my car.

I think 50M is a fair price for him realistically and would be surprised if no one offered that come next summer.

This could actually be the ideal scenario involving Jackson, whatever you're feelings of him, i believe he still has huge potential.

The problem with us was, he had no mentor to look up to here, he needed the guidance of a senior striker, to properly learn the

role of striker, or even proper competition. We never gave that to him, consequently he declined rather than grew. Love or hate Kane nobody can say he's not

the ultimate role model for Jacko to learn from. Either way after 12 months he's either going to be a much easier sale, or dare i say much improved, and bought

back into the fold. For me the jury is still out on Delap, he's obviously much better than Jacko in some areas, but overall i don't see him as better.

Seems like he might actually be off. I don't dislike him like some do but I won't miss him.

Is that a confirmed quote from his agent?

Will be such a shame to see him go, who can we rely on to be perennially offside? To single handedly destroy all our intricate build up play? To get a red card at the least opportune moments? To lower fan morale with a first touch to make Lukaku blush? Where will we get our weekly dose of seeing a professional footballer trip over their own feet from?

Badiashile

Matt Law in the latest podcast suggests that he is very unlikely to go to Bayern. Chelsea want a sale at this point although he may go out on a domestic loan with a decent up front fee and obligation and by that none of the get out of jail type obligation that we insisted on in Sanchos loan agreement ( shows you how desperate Utd were to get him out the door ).

Law was a little circumspect but his money he said was on him going to Villa.

I just can't see how many games he's going to play in that team!

I’ll fulfil this role for £5k a week but I’d need August off
