Pochettino says the squad will be 25 players max. So some are getting cut from those in da USA. 

I am guessing of the players that will include some of the younger guys like Barstow and Gilchrist, Angelo but there will be more and players that might have expected to stay.

Interested in who will be cut.

I am thinking Lewis Hall won't make it, and one of Casedi and Santos will go, because I think nearly everyone has seen what Carney offers. I would pick Casedi for the loan. Many will disagree but I'd let Chalobah go, because he seems a bit injury prone as much as anything. Maatsen seems to have made the cut as a utility player and Gallagher will also likely stay.

That leaves 16. Adding back in Badiashile, Broja and Bettinelli takes us to 19.

That would be a real shame as I think Hall is one of the best dribblers in the squad. The way he sometimes just glides past opponents gives a real option and I would 100% keep him over poodle head.

Was thinking Casadei might be an option as he does have good vision and can play that Fabregas type pass, but against Fulham, I think we saw it might be a bit early for him. He looked leggy and a good season loan should benefit him.

But I really haven't a clue as to who Pochettino will keep and who he will let go as we have so many options and there look to be a lot of fresh, hungry players - all looking to prove themselves so it is gonna be a tough call for some.

 Bang on, this. And to the extent that if any of the ones in your squad leave, I would see that as an indication of additional business being done on incomings. 

Hall is the only wildcard for me. We haven't seen huge amounts of him, but he almost feels too versatile to not have in the squad.

Other consideration being Gallagher, with the noise of him being up for grabs. I dont think Casadei would fit the gap. Maybe thats where Hall comes in.

Think that this is pretty much nailed on with my thinking as well. Personally if a deal could be done i would let Gallagher go out, if we got a Lavia, for example in, in addition to Caicedo. I would probably have one extra in the squad as well, by adding Olise if possible if a deal could be done.

So that's Caicedo, Lavia, Kudus, Olise and Mike Maignan on the shopping list please

It was a toss up between Hall and Maatsen for that last squad place. I went with Maatsen on three counts

1. Pochettino has been raving about him
2. He's played a lot more minutes than Hall in pre-season.
3. Hall would probably benefit more from a loan, seeing as he's never had one, and hopefully that would establish whether he's a midfielder or a left back. The loan at Burnley last season has clearly helped Maatsen, who admittedly we haven't seen once at left back yet.

Agree on Casadei. He looked well off it against Fulham, but could be fatigue as a factor, as he's been the most used player in pre season to date (257 minutes).

Hall is a better LB than midfielder imo. 

Cumming, Bergström, Beach, Slonina (KAS Eupen), Hall, Casadei (Leicester), Gilchrist (Sheffield United?), Ângelo (Strassbourg) & Moreira will probably have to go out on loan

I think we're more likely to be seeing Maatsen as a utility player in the attack.

He's far too suspect defensively for a back four, if Pochettino won't play him there even in pre season doing so when the real stuff starts is highly unlikely.

I sincerely hope our backroom negotiators are working 24/7 flat out on sale or loan deal for Lukaku, Cucurella and Sterling all going as a package to Tottenham.

Also, he always seems to be in every bloody photo from the training ground
