I looked into it and they credit his 5 minute performance against united as a clean sheet, despite getting sent off after and being the reason we lost the game. These stats get more and more silly.

January 26Jan 26 Im starting to feel some confidence in Robert Sanchez, hes proving time and time again to be an excellent shot stopper, game after game. This messing about at the back isnt something he can avoid if the current or previous manager insist on it. Ultimately we look likely to mess about deep in our own defensive areas until we lose possession for the foreseeable future. If we ever stopped this nonsense and got a settled back four we could really go places.

He's a shot stopper, and a pretty good one. Remember when Maresca said he'd drop Sanchez if he played out long from the back? That lasted until even Maresca realised he's poor with his feet. Just a fact of life. Sadly, Rosenoir seems determined to ignore the obvious.
January 26Jan 26 I can't see Sanchez being rotated much right now even if he makes multiple mistakes with his feet ... not when our fit keeper alternatives are Sharman-Lowe and Slonina LOL

Ditch the playing out from the back. Even Maresca finally woke up.
January 29Jan 29 Saved us the win right at the death stopping Lukaku's shot. I've noticed he was being a lot more vocal in that game and in others. Not only when there are defensive errors, but also for poor backpasses too. There was one time where I think Fofana sent a lazy pass his way which resulted in Sanchez booting it straight out, and he hollered at Fofana to switch on. Maybe I'm misremembering but I don't remember him being so assertive 6 months ago. Good to see.
January 30Jan 30 I don’t think it’s a stretch at all to label him one of the best shot stoppers in the league, commands his box, insane reflexes and he’s a proper big c**t as well, fills the net right out. He’s just an absolutely sh*t footballer, can’t pick a pass to save his life, too many touches and looks immediately ropey when recieving the ball to his feet.Maybe if we just let our Keeper be a Keeper we’ll be absolutely fine (Next we’ll let our fullbacks be, Ya’know, fullbacks. No more ‘inverted’ bo**ocks, one step at a time)

A rotational inverse 8.5 who breaks lines through resonant vibrations whenever he’s aligned with Jupiter?
January 30Jan 30 His kicking will always be a limitation - be it misplaced short passes with/without pressure on him, the many long diagonal passes that sail out of play, or the hurried long clearances that don’t get off the ground. But he appears to be managing risk better with his kicking. When it comes to shot stopping and aerial command, he’s as good as anyone we’ve had to years. His reflexes are immense, and his reactions and reach are as good as anyone in the league. Been good to watch his improvement. I think he can continue and we slowly integrate Penders to see if he has the ability.

January 31Jan 31 He’s one of the best shot stoppers in Europe without a doubt. Liam will eventually realise what Maresca did and change but we will have suffer along with Sanchez until he does
February 1Feb 1 I saw a video of him having a go at the fans for booing. I'm not having that, the fans are treated like sh*t by these owners and have had to watch as the club becomes unrecognisable and pulled in a direction that has us concerned about it's future. We watch the slowest and worst football ever seen with players looking like they don't give a sh*t most games. What are any of the current players doing to connect with the fans? Will any of them attend a meeting with the CST? Do any of these players even know that they or the CPO even exist? Are they aware at how much of the fanbase are unhappy under the current ownership and direction of the club? And if they do, do they care? Very unlikely. If the players play like they did in the 2nd half from the off in most games, we could at least say that despite all of the sh*t going on in the background, we have a team we can be proud to watch every weekend.

The two clowns SD Beavis and Butthead, Eghbali and medical team and the data analyst
February 3Feb 3 He has confidence issues against arsenal - ever since the Rice give away - every year he makes a mistake. Last season it was the merino goal- two in the league cup .. I think he has gifted them 4-5 goals.. hopefully he can get his act together later tonight.

Caveat: playing behind an ever-rotating defence including famously disorganised, error-prone CBs must be a nightmare.

The two clowns SD Beavis and Butthead, Eghbali and medical team and the data analystI totally get the frustration and the booing, that first half was depressing. At the same time I really liked seeing Sanchez try and build up the belief at half time telling fans we can still come back and win it. That positivity and mindset is so key when you're trailing in a match and it's great that he has it. He has come on so far mentally in the last 18 months to be able to back himself after the slating he's had from fans and press.
February 3Feb 3 As long as Sanchez has license to go long when the press comes I’m more than happy with him. I’m not seeing many keepers I’d have ahead of him in terms of form this season.
February 16Feb 16 His heat maps against Leeds and Arsenal, but it is very similar for all games under Rosenior, suggests that he's going to be played as an inverted CB when playing out from the back. I feel like we'll get caught more than once with his mistakes if he's been played like this regularly.
