Nice quick passing which I'm happy about and we are creating plenty of chances. Chuky has been probably the worse of the lot but not horrible by any means just could do more.

Once he move middle, he has been great.

He was our best player that half, absolutely no idea how anyone can slag him off at half time.

To be fair, people were slagging him off for his performance during the first 25 minutes. He started playing a lot better after that.

Very messy first half. We are playing way too open, the CB's are getting no protection and both Disasi and Colwill are not helping themselves with some very poor and lazy defending. I feel sorry for Gallagher because he's being punished for his best attribute, his work rate. Constantly asking him to play deep just because he works his socks off is doing him a disservice. He can't do it.

Chukwuemeka looks well out of his depth still. He's been really disappointing and if he is taken off, he only has himself to blame. I would take him off for Santos and play Gallagher further forward.

James and Sterling are linking up well and Jackson is lively (should have scored though) but that is all we really have in attack really.

Even early on in the half I didn't think he was as bad as some were making him out to be. He played two very good through balls for James to run on to early on.

Really shows how much of a loss Nkuku is for us.

Gallagher is our best midfield screener. So we need him there.

The first 20 mins Sterling was the same as last season, then the rest of the half he impressed more than the whole previous season.

IMO James has been our best player followed by Enzo, Sterling and Chilwell.

Colwill hasn't looked great up against Salah. Carney needs to be more direct running with the ball.

Really like the way we are playing but no way is Colwell up to been first choice CB. Was he really first choice at Brighton

from what I heard over the summer and what we've seen from him today, the young guy has an over-inflated opinion of himself

Tough job with no support. Chilly need to get back.

Just think playing 5atb is insane for Colwill and Disasi, did they . Both have grown into the game though.

Chuk id agree with, he's not attacked the game enough, maybe nerves.

What's frustrating is with a back 4, you bring Maatsen or Mudryk into the game and that provides more support to Gallagher and chuk.
