Utter incompetence. If I'm Todd and Clearlake I'm massively questioning why I've spunked so much money on players and my 'transfer gurus' can't sign someone who can actually f**king score. I think that the reality is that they have put themselves into a headlock because of the profligate spending up to this point on mediocre, non-appreciating players, and now have to shift some out before being able to bring in new. Sadly the rest of the transfer market, globally, is not quite as inept as those that we have employed. Of course the incompetence doesn't stop there as anyone can see that anybody employing two people to do the same job having made a horses ar$e of it themselves previously is clearly a gullible oaf that is there for the taking.
February 3, 20251 yr Author What was a strategy will need to become a disaster recovery programme, very soon.
February 3, 20251 yr Bizarre window. Recalling Anselmino, and Chalobah, while also trying to integrate Achaempong and now we can't get Disasi out, and Anselmino can't go on loan, as Felix has just taken up the last loan spot, having arrived 6 months ago on a 7 year deal. Also taking up a loan spot is Sarr who we signed from Strasbourg, and loaned back to them, presumably as a way give Strasbourg some money to spend on their own squad a kids that's being assembled. Brief the media all window that we are looking for a goalscoring left winger and/or a striker. Tel being the number one target that we can't convince to come and waste his career here like so many others, ends up going to 15th places spurs, and we move away from getting any forward, despite letting Felix go loan. Deadline day comes, and we bring a player with less than 20 games to replace Veiga and Casadei as midfield back up. Casadei having took a full month to haggle over about €2m after the money we have wasted. Then we have the Chukwuemeka saga which is another absolute waste of time. and we also found time to buy a 16 year left back for €15m who can't move here for 2 years, and we are close to signing another 19 year old midfielder who can't come until the summer. Does this sound like anything remotely close to a plan? It is the ramblings of a mad mad! That is how we operate now. Circus in full swing, and the clowns are in charge.
February 3, 20251 yr Goes without saying that Ben Roberts should be categorized with the co-directors.

That is totally subjective. the question still applies, where is there any evidence of this strategy being successful. I would concede the nearest being Santos, who is the stay of a below average team in a weak league. If we're being subjective, i don't particularly rate Gusto and teh other two kids are a complete unknown quantity. Let's not forget everybody was salivating over Endrick as being the second coming. Struggling to get a game at ReaL Madrid.

The goal as our board said to increase/maintain the value of this player aka asset while minimizing carrying value aka wages.

The value of anything can only be accurately assessed once it has been realised. The value of any of our players remains subjective. Reece James is a good example. Rated as one of the very best full backs in world football but with his appalling injury record, what is his true value. I suspect that we will make money on some of these players but I also suspect that the paydays will be few and far between and will cause massive issues with the fans, such as when they sell Palmer because of all these speculative acquisitions just dont bring the required return. Remember the bedrock of free youth talent is now diminishing, look at the amount of kids leaving the academy. I come back to my original point. I see scant evidence that this strategy, which is killing our club by the way, is producing anywhere near the return this lot have gambled on.

February 8, 20251 yr Get this lot out before the coach.. clowns the both of them.. real clowns .. jobs too big for these incompetent lot.
February 8, 20251 yr These f**king idiots just want to turn us into an English Dortmund, and a sh*t one at that. We'll win f**k all with this lot in charge.
February 8, 20251 yr Loan fees for Chukwuemeka, Chilwell, Felix, Disasi, Veiga. Sold Casadei. Good profit made. This is what these lot are celebrating whilst we are annoyed about the loss tonight. Explanation needs to be done as to why we have gone from having great depth to limited depth. Look at likes of City, correcting there wrongs whilst buying players for future with experience to salvage their season. Fuming.
February 8, 20251 yr The fact they share a role should of raised alarm bells straight away. If they disagree with a strategy or the direction of the football club who has the final say for example??
