The injuries thread

Featured Replies

Should have started this thread last season really, because it's hard to keep up with them all, but better late than never. Let's put them all in here along with opinions on why we are the Walking Wounded champions of the world.

Here's an update. As usual it's a long read.

I’m injured but due to the confidentially clause of the ShedEnd Chatbox I’m unable to comment further.

Nothing to do with chainsaws. No, really!

And at least Broja is reported to be fine.

I might be Injured, but I'm waiting for the swelling to go before I go for a scan...

Numerous media sources reporting Chilwell will be out for a minimum of 2 months.

So, quick bit of maths, plus the 9 divide by 3, carry the 5. Yep, as I thought. Expect a come back date of 14th March 2024.

Okay, who saw that coming? Form an orderly queue please!

All this discussion about injuries reminds of that famous scene from the film Marathon Man where Laurence Oliver's character carries out dental 'treatment' on the role played by Dustin Hoffman. I would post the clip on here but not ideal for those who are squeamish.

Is it safe?

Reality is we can’t plan on a season of Chilwell and James staying fit. We all knew this. Carrying both every season is a lot, so perhaps a reevaluation next summer is necessary, and we all know it’s not Reece who would leave.

My on / off toothache flared up after reading this .

Is there any chance we can outsource our medical rehabilitation processes to anybody else.

In fact rather than buying the next feeder club is there any chance this can be Boehly's next investment?

There is something endemic at the club. Surely it has to be looked at - whether it be personnel, facilities/ground conditions, diet and conditioning. I’ve never known a group of people get injured this often.
