I disagree. As daft as it sounds, just give them the ball and let them beat themselves. Mistakes happen all the time when defensive teams are forced to actually play football.

It’s got to be better than how we play now. We’re banging our head off a brick wall week in, week out against these kind of teams.

The entire team has been mediocre, but Conor drives me nuts. He needs 5 touches to do what most do in 1-2.

Can blame the attack all we want (rightly so) but our complacency in defence is equally as worrying. Can never ask them to give us 90 minutes of discipline.

Doesn’t surprise me. We’ll do well against possession-based teams because it plays to our strengths.

When we’re against teams that let us control the ball we’re going to struggle.
