It was a good atmosphere, to be honest, good banter with them. Actually I think they were originally singing "Champions or Europe, we'll never sing that" sarcastically taking the piss out those fans that sung it at them before last season.
November 13, 20232 yr Thought the Telegraph had the best photo, although Cucu's hair is classic and Silva heading while Haaland has his leg up is a powerful photo.

November 14, 20232 yr 3 minutes ago, just said: I very much doubt that Bob. Haaland is obviously an absolute monster, already in the conversation as the best st in the world. But under TT, I can't see it working. Imagine Haaland moving side to side, dropping deep to connect play so our wb and am can play. That would have been crazy but under TT he needed to do this otherwise the whole offense will not work.
November 14, 20232 yr Still on a high from this game. Watched it Sunday and all the post match stuff. Recorded MOTD and watched before going to work Monday morning. Then when I got home last night, Sky were showing highlights so watched it again! One of those games we could easily have lost (and were probably expected to), but equally could have won but was more than happy with the draw. The Palmer dribble and the Gusto chance...........both so near. But then great save from Sanchez when you would have put money on Haaland scoring. The way City finished the first half and started the second, with goals either side, we could easily have folded so the 4-4 draw still feels like a win to me - especially the way Palmer slotted that late penalty away. Must have watched that pen 50 or so times - so fearless under all that pressure! Edited November 14, 20232 yr by Nibs

A performance that would have been good enough at any point in Chelsea’s history. The players must be buzzing also. The international break seems to have come at the wrong time. Hopefully they like me can’t wait for the Newcastle game.
