Can anyone actually explain his all of a sudden recent explosion in form?

With Toney likely going to Arsenal and me hoping we don't meet Osimhen's ridiculous release clause, Gyokeres seems like the most likely target our club will look at.

You'd rather we pay 80m for Gyokeres instead of 120m for Osimhen?

Ruben Amorim's got a pretty good reputation for overachieving with Sporting, so it might be that

Probably need to sign his manager if we are serious about the player, otherwise it could be another case of good player signed for the wrong manager.

100mill worth of impressed?

£85m release clause.

Someone mentioned it in this thread but he looks like the complete forward. Issue is that this is his first season playing at this level and he was playing at Coventry just last year and was available for peanuts compared to now.

We've paid more for players with less first team football.  The issue would be whether he could hack the physicality and pace of the PL. He looks like he has the physical attributes from what I've seen.

Was very much against the idea at the start cos it sounded like typical Clearlake bullsh*t, spending obscene money on someone with little to no experience, but he does seem to have something about him. Quite strong and tenacious. Could work well in the PL.

Realistically come the summer the available strikers will probably be Osimhen,  Toney, Ferguson, Guirassy, Gyokeres,  Gimenez, possibly Kane (although I doubt). 80m is going to be pretty much the going rate I reckon

Sorry but if we end up signing this guy for £80m or whatever it is then the recruitment team need to resign immediately, since he went for ~£20m just last summer.

Could have sworn I read the guy we just brought in from Brighton wanted to bring him there.

85m£ down the drain i promise you. Look elsewhere please.

Judging by your name I understand why you'd want a swedish striker to stay away from us right now.

Spend 85M plus 150k a week on this guy, or the same amount on 2-3 kids we can't even find on FM😁 I rather take a gamble on a proven player, sure it looks stupid when it fails, but nobody could claim the recruitment over the past 18 months has been a success.

If i may, i would like to offer my services as Chelsea's potential new striker. I would only want 5 grand a week but i would only be able to do weekend games as i am busy on the building sites through the week. Dont think i need to worry about getting a passport for any european games for a few years yet

These owners aren't afraid to spend the cash.

Start spending it on the most pressing area.

Depends on the financial situation. I think just signing one top striker would be fine as long as we look at other pressing areas like LB, LW and possibly CB. I'd rather us spend the extra money getting top players in those positions than buying more than one striker

If that LW is a proven goal scorer, sure, but those are hard to come by.

We need goals.

Depends where we see Nkunku playing as well, assuming next season we have a new manager and sign a striker, will he replace Gallagher behind the striker or will he play as a left forward.
